I miss Minhyun.

Tbh no matter how successful this NU'EST W comeback is it will never distract me from how much I fucking miss Minhyun. Miss seeing him awake and a ball of sunshine, not looking like he’s ill with 1 hours sleep bc apparantly YMC dont see W1 as humans? I miss him looking after, complimenting and babying the members at whatever chance he gets. I miss how he cutely says “hyung~” to Aron and Aron calling him “Minhyunie” and Aron ‘hacking’ his instagram w/ shitposts. I miss him looking after and giggling with Mingi . I miss him calling JR cute and hyping him up as leader. I miss him bickering with Baekho, their bicycle dates and telling him to stop eating so fast he’ll get indegestion. I miss his voice. I miss everything about him and I miss him in Nu'est so fucking much😭

And to think if im feeling this way… Minhyun must miss his members 10x worse. This 1.5 year serperation is truely a cruel move by mnet. I miss him.

This is a 2017 version of the song 여보세요 by 4 members of NU'EST as a thank you gesture for their fans.

I broke down at JR’s rap. It just sounds so raw, bursting of emotion and yet very finely restrained at the same time. Dongho’s adlib is LEGEND, I really wish to drag him to Masked Singer/Immortal Song so more people can be aware about how amazing his voice is. Aron’s voice is waaaay more soft and smooth than I remembered and I will always love his english rap. But the thing that stick with me the most is how Minki taking charge of Minhyun’s part flawlessly, really he deserves the highest praise.

Yes, there is no one that can replace Minhyun’s part in this song and I’m sure he feels very burdened by this, and yet I think he managed to own the part and adding another wonderful layer to song. Overall this song sounds so sorrowful, desperate, heartbreaking and 1000x times sadder and more mature than the 2013 version. They must’ve really poured their heart out when recording the song (thinking about all the hardships they’ve been through… Could you imagine Dongho recorded this at the time his issue came up and maybe finish it after his father passed away? I’m crying again TT-TT). I’m waiting for the day when we can hear Minhyun’s voice again with them, hopefully at 2019 they’ll remake the song again and as many have said change the hashtag #Waiting_you to #Welcoming_you.

Honestly, never have I ever stan a group so hard and become so emotionally attached to the point that all I want is for them to be truly truly happy and achieve their dream to be successful without thinking of what I could get (ie. go to their concert, fanmeet, etc). It’s like rooting hard for your child from afar. They deserve it. They really deserve it.

The fandom is still small now, but I really wish more people can be aware of their existence, good songs and beautiful lyrics (if you haven’t already please listen to all the songs in Q is and Canvas albums and read the lyrics, they’re like a series of poems I’m not joking). Hopefully 2017 is their reversal year, the start of their success, the beginning of their flower path. I’m sorry if you think I’m overreacted here but hey I’m writing this after listening to heartwrenching new Yeoboseyo, what do you expect?

I LOVE NU'EST - the talents, the visuals, the dorkiness, the thoughtfulness, and all other things I experienced by stanning them. NU'EST #OT5 forever.
