Brief - Redesign for urban apartment living
To design a kitchen & living space for a young professional couple with a baby, one works in media the other in IT. They have bought an apartment in a stylish 1960’s block which needs some renovation, it is not listed. They like to entertain informally and would like to integrate the kitchen into the living space without having to spend too much on re doing the living area. They both enjoy cooking and they see the kitchen as at the heart of their home. They are open to suggestions on the style of the kitchen, they would like something individual, different, something which makes them want to be in the kitchen cooking, relaxing, eating & entertaining. They do have a collection of old storage jars which they would like to be displayed and easily accessible. Suggested appliances, mid to upper range Large fridge and freezer, wine cooler Standard Oven Interested in steam cooking (although have not done much) Lots of storage Hob Dishwasher Double or single Sink & tap
