What I love about the Pilot aesthetic is how like, they’re trying to be realistic but they’re not as good at it yet, so there’s this accidental “Puppet Show of Trains” look.

It’s cozy and unpretentious how it’s very recognizably models, like Postman Pat or Bagpuss.

Not that I need more ideas, but it gives me them…

one day i'll actually finish my lore page but that day is not today

so in my human AU, they're all magical girl-esque superheroes called "Conductors" who get their special powers from Gold Dust! I wanted them all to have unique signature abilities and weapons, though I'm still working out some of the details.

I like to imagine Thomas' fighting style to be reminiscent of this (and also this, which isn't a yo-yo but u see the vibes). And he can power up his attacks by doing different yo-yo tricks!
