♥ | “So cute...~” Is it strange for Soleil to find her grandma super duper adorable? All girl in this world are adorable, including her mother and grandma! “Father sure is lucky..”

The young lady finds a small box by her door, wrapped in a ribbon. Inside is a small cupcake with icing. The words 'Happy birthday.' written with icing on it. But there is no name at to who it's from.

♥ | Oh? She hasn’t even set outside her quarters just yet, but Soleil spots the small gift upon the door. “Hm? What’s this?” Kneeling down to pick up said box, she opens it, a smile beaming on her face upon the small treat. “It looks too cute to be eaten!~ I wonder who it’s from?” A friend? A secret admirer? Or perhaps a cute girl who’s too shy to approach her? It just made this mercenary’s cheeks blush. “I gotta find out who sent this! It’s just too adorable–!”

“Ah, maybe,” Aqua said with a smile and a quick wink. Of course, her daughter deserved all of the loving attention she could get on a day like today, but sometimes… it was just a little bit too much fun to plan something in secret. “I suppose you’ll have to wait and see.”

♥ | Well, this was certainly a great start for her special day! Rather than having her parents visit her in the Deeprealms every once in a while, this was nice! Soleil smiles at her mother, and she’s very excited today. “Something tells me that there is a surprise! Heh, whatever it is, I’m sure I’ll love it--!” She loved surprises. Especially if it was good for her!

"Happy Birthday, Soleil," Aqua said wit ha smile before she wrapped both arms around the girl in a tight, warm hug. "Have you gotten any particularly special gifts so far?"

♥ | “Hehe, thanks, Mom!” The girl laughs upon her mother giving her a hug, and Soleil welcomes the embrace with a big smile. She was lucky to be the daughter of a mother who was both beautiful and loving. Lavender eyes peer up at Aqua, still keeping that smile on her face. “I’ve been greeted here and there, but no gifts just yet! I wonder if they’re trying to surprise me?~”

Tiny Hands (Happy (early) Birthday, Soleil!!)

♥ | “I still remember,” She says, nodding. “When you’d tell me more and more about grandmother.” Even though he’s been doing his best to be all smiles, Soleil noticed that there was sadness within that face. Although she loves seeing her father be all happy, this is probably one of those times where it’s okay to not feel that way. (Like that one time she fended off a group of bandits outside of the Deeprealms!) Still, she’s heard about how great his mother was, and how radiant she would always be every day. Lavender eyes blink to his touch.

“She was an amazing dancer--and she must’ve been really pretty! I’m sure we’d get along swimmingly!” Soleil smiles back at her father. She’d practically invite her grandmother for a cup of tea, too! “I love her just as much as I love you, Father.~”

♥ | “Don’t be! I’d be lying if I said that I’ve never had a heartache in entire my life.” A pause, and she pats Laslow’s head again. “Today is grandmother���s birthday, right?”

        ❝ … it is, ❞ he answers, lifting his head to at least give her the eye contact she has to be wanting from him. Some sort of proof that he won’t completely fall apart on her. Today was a day that he should celebrate, but in all of his life, it quickly became a day of mourning, knowing she was no longer alive to celebrate it, either. It just didn’t feel right, even if he knew she wouldn’t want him sulking about so. Especially not in front of his daughter.

      ❝ You’re a sharp girl for remembering that, darling. I knew you were as bright as your smile, ❞ corners of his lips quirk upward, dragging a single thumb across his daughter’s cheek with a pleasant sigh,  ❝ I know she would have loved you. And you would have loved her, too. ❞

Yo! Do you like a girl of a mercenary who tries to keep on being positive and all smiles? For all you lovely folks (and especially you ladies), here’s Soleil!
