He saw the fear in her eyes. She didn’t want this. Not yet. She was young, weak, helpless. She needed to be trained. Molded into something new and better. “Come with me, dear girl. I’m going to help you.”
He set her down to the side of the pile of ash. Once he got to the door, he turned and looked at the other undead. He needed to teach her a lesson.
“Yol... Toor Shul!”
Fire erupted from his mouth and engulfed the two undead. They burned to ashes, but this time there were no screams. Just the eerie sound of silence and the smell of cooking flesh.
“Leave none alive. That’s lesson one.”
She stopped fighting it and slit the man’s throat, just to get out of this situation. She watched and the undead man fell down and turn to ash. Could she leave now?

He picked her up. She needed to do this. No matter how she did it, she had to do it with her own hands. He dragged her over to the first person, pressing the knife against that man’s throat with her hand. “All you have to do is slash. I’ve done the rest for you. Just make the kill.”
The Imperial held the knife for a little while with a weak grip, occasionally she looked at the now undead captives with glazed over eyes.
She bought her knees to her chest and leaned back on the wall.

“I can help you, Anne.” He put a knife in her hands. “All you have to do... is kill them. They’re not good people, Anne. People don’t summon us for nothing. Kill them. And I’ll help you.”

“No… The power isn’t worth this anymore…” She stopped, those were the last words she would utter, for now. She wanted to say so much more, yell, punch him, scream at him; but transforming and shifting back drained her, not only physically but mentally too.

“Well. Go on.” His tone was less reminiscent now of a commander, more of a caring mentor. He was good at facades when necessary.
“You….” It was taking energy to speak, but she needed to get her words out. “I’m… I’m fucking exhausted.” It was meant to come out as a shout but it was monotone. “And when I’m exhausted I…” The rest of that sentence was a mumble.

He waited for her to be transformed. He stopped draining her. The dead were still risen. The same way they died, but now living.
Once she returned to her normal self, he floated there for a small while, staring ominously at Anne. She needed to know exactly what he was. Exactly what he could do.
After what he decided was an adequate time, he shifted.
“Now you understand. Obey me.”

Pain surged through it’s body, what was going on? It was the Beast, not some pup… How…?
Inside Anne saw this opportunity, an opportunity to get out. She struggled so hard, eventually the Beast started getting smaller, fur falling off and turning back into the short Imperial.
It wasn’t long until the girl turned back to her normal self and the poor girl was exhausted after all this.

“FAIR ENOUGH,” the Lord said. With one hand, he resurrected the dead. With the other, he began to drain the life from the wolf. “DO YOU FEEL THIS PAIN? RELEASE HER, OR I WILL LET IT CONTINUE TO BURN YOU.” He clenched his fist, increasing the power to the beast.

It gave a crooked grin “Bring her back? Nah. I’m having too much fun!” The Beast didn’t seem intimidated, it was too proud of a monster to be intimidated. “Oh but believe me, she’s trying to get out.” It added.

“From, unfortunately. Is that where you plan on going?”
He eyed her. The garb she wore... very obviously a member of his own Thieve’s Guild. What she was doing here, he had no clue. Had the Guild really fallen that harshly after his disappearance?
Either way, he knew to keep an eye on her hands and his purse.
sosdruniik started following you
Johanna frowns, looking over at the man. In her own time and home, Jo was a Nightingale. In this, though, she was just another thief.
She looked the man over that she had crossed paths with on the way to Solitude. She tilts her head curiously. She can sense something powerful within him. Something powerful and… dark.
“Hail, traveller.” she says, nodding. “Are you headed to Dawnstar, by any chance?”

It was always fun, seeing what these ridiculous beasts of Hircine could do. But this was dissidence. Of the highest order. Arnbjorn knew how to handle himself... this beast was nothing but a pup, full of anger and spite against nothing in particular. So he decided to use his last line of defense, his last form of attack. It was risky, but he was willing to take the risk. The silver went away. He concentrated. And he... changed.

“BRING HER BACK, FOUL LYCAN OF HIRCINE.”
"I don’t take orders from meat.” Before the assassin could do anything the Beast launched at the targets, ripping them to pieces. Their screams filled the cabin as it disemboweled them.

“No, no, not really.”

“Your bravery astounds me. Maybe it’s because you understand not what I am.” He sheathed his sword. He raised his hand. His eyes glowed red. And he sucked the life out of the mage.
FIFTEEN left. this ‘one’ was not the first, in fact. the young ones were not worth the risk. ❝ WINTERHOLD’s mages are the last line of defense for TAMRIEL. yield, and i will spare you. ❞ to turn the tables was risky enough. to know of its worth was only possible through a miniscule trial by fire.
