What I’ve learned so far in 2020
We need to come together and support each other even when we are supposed to be social distancing.
It’s okay to ask for help
It’s okay to ask questions to better understand why someone believes what they believe or does whatever they are doing.
It’s okay to feel lonely, if you can remember that you are not actually alone.
You are so strong.
We are strong.
Lives should matter, and we should hear the voices of those who have been bogged down by a system that was built to break them or keep them down.
Those who fought to get in seats of power can be both strong beautiful and courage souls while also corrupted and secretive.
It’s okay to celebrate your history as long as you allow others to celebrate theirs.
Sometimes, you’ll feel like the only person who believes what you do. You’re probably right. Guess what, though? No one else has the life that you have so no one else will have the views that you have. No what else? That makes you so amazing and special and we need your voice to be heard.
It’s okay to say all lives matter, because they do, and it’s great to let one group of people stand up and show how their lives have been degraded and to give them a chance to know that their lives DO matter.
Some people will take advantage of a movement to spread hatred, bigotry, and fear. You have to know who is going to support togetherness and love and who is supporting separation and deepening the cavern of hate.
It is okay to stay home.
it is okay to explore the world around you.
It is okay to stand up for yourself and others.
It is okay to let someone else stand up for you.
It is okay to feel weak.
It is okay to feel unbreakable.
You should definitely enjoy the sky more, go ahead, look at it. Isn’t it amazing?
Nature finds a way.
It’s okay to be afraid, just don’t let that fear ruin your moments. Let yourself feel happy, loved, lovable, joyful, exuberant, beautiful, powerful, flawless!
Spread love and live in a state of aloha.
