Bathing in Ramkund- a Different Charm

Ramakunda is the most important bathing ghat of Nashik on Godavari River. There are many temples at both the sides of Godavari River near Ramakund area. This is where Kumbhamela takes place once in 12 years. Thousands of people take bath everyday in this bathing ghat and pray in Ganga Godavari temple near the river. This video shows bathing views at Ramkund on regular days.

Gallery 4- British Rule up to Partition Gallery 5- J&K Ops 1947-48. Gallery 6- Indo China War 1962. Gallery 7- Indo-Pak Wars (1965-1971) and OP Pawan/OP Cactus. Gallery 8- Kargil War 1999.

Manoji Mano Chhail Nanda Laal Raag Kafi by Umakant Mishra

“Manoji Chhail Nanda Laal..” is a song about Lord Krishna playing holi with the Gopis in Vrindavan. This is in raag Kafi and taal Trital. First “Mano” starts from 15th matra and then “Manoji” starts from 1st Matra in Trital. It took me a long time to practice especially the two long taans at the end of the song. I understand my voice is not sweet to present the song in the way it is desired. However, I had to give a lot of attention on Light Camera Microphone etc. which always distract me from singing my best. I wish all music lovers to sing this song. For the benefit of learners I have displayed all the lyrics and notes of the song on the video screen so that anybody can easily see the screen and sing like karaoke.
