Frank and Gerard are in a relationship, Ray and Mikey too, but they’re open. Gerard and Mikey fuck in secret. Mikey threatens to tell Frank, while Gerard is jealous of Ray.

Okay, so… hear me out.

Mikey is 17 and about to finish high school, he doesn’t have many friends so he hangs out with his brother and his friends. He meets Ray (21) and eventually they fall in love. Ray knows it’s wrong, but he can’t help himself, Mikey is just perfect.

The thing here is, Mikey wants to have sex with Ray but Ray refuses, saying he’s too young. Later Mikey says “It’s a way of showing love, right? I wanna prove that I love you” which makes Ray realize something: Mikey was probably manipulated into believing that. Mikey denies it, but ends up admitting it was Gerard who taught him that. Ray connects the dots, and asks “Did you have sex with Gerard?” which Mikey replied with “Of course, I love him and I wanna show him that I do”

Ray gets furious, because he knew that Mikey’s perspective of love was totally ruined by Gerard. His beautiful boy had been groomed by his brother.

“Stay away from your brother!” Ray yelled to Gerard, who didn’t seem to care.

After Mikey turns 18, Ray finally submits to his petition and they have sex for the first time, but the thing is… it wasn’t what Mikey expected. It was lovely and sweet, unlike Gerard’s selfishness. Mikey freaks out, he’s not used to being loved properly. He runs back to Gerard, and even though his heart is broken from leaving the love of his love behind, the consuming feeling of guilt is gone.
