so, i think i am gonna archive souji and move him to a fresh blog. i’ve missed the muse but i don’t really want to come back to this dash in particular. it’ll be under the same url so don’t worry. i’ll also reblog a promo once the blog is up !

tentatively looks around,,,,,, what if I remade this blog

now onto the psa ! all of my blogs’ canons are connected . idk if it was obvious or not , but let me lay it all out . let’s use my dojima , @dojimar as a point of origin . firstly , as i’ve yet to interact with other dojimas on nanako ( @dojiman ) , he’s her father . this also means that his two main ships ( with tohrua’s adachi and ceasepain’s stizza ) affect nanako in the way that she sees them as her other parent in their respective verses . for sho , it’s sort of the same ( at least so far with tohrua ) . he sees dojima as a parental figure ( as laid out in the verse on my verses page ) , and adachi as a father as well . souji ( @souseta ) is more loosely connected , in the way that , until i interact with another dojima , my muse is the one he sees as his uncle . more closely , his father . dojima sort of sees souji the same way , and would refer to souji ( and sho ) as his son , should push come to shove . unless interacting with other protags , dojima , nanako , and sho , will all make references to souji still living in inaba , as my souji’s canon is that he stays and does not move back to tokyo .

isolation had always worked best. acquaintances and friends were nice, sure, but it was in his nature to keep to himself as best he could. what looked to be a permanent scowl on his face and a height that surpassed the other boys in his grade, apparently there had always been the intimidation turn off. which had been fine with him  ——  a heart of gold, but the only one really aware of that being his little sister. until the rumors had started, followed up by disappearances, and the dreary atmosphere of the halls. it was hard to ignore everything then.

❝  hey, do you know why the art room is locked?  ❞   footing had come to a halt next to the other; approaching someone certainly wasn’t what he planned for the day, but after arriving to class late due to the rain and an incident with the chain on his bike, the project he’d tried so hard to keep dry was useless if he couldn’t actually turn it in, it was necessary. there’s a deep frown then, the crease between eyebrows intensifying. his gaze leaves the other, settling upon a scuff in the polished hardwood.   ❝  ——  oh. probably has something to do with the disappearances.  ❞

he  doesn’t  think  of  himself  as  popular  .  let  alone  someone  people  go  out  of  their  way  to  talk  to  .  he  has  made  bonds  with  a  few  ,  yet  not  as  many  as  he  may  like  to  .  not  with  those  who  seemed  to  be  as  much  loners  as  souji  himself  had  seemed  to  be  .  which  is  why  he  finds  himself  wandering  this  wing  of  the  school  outside  of  class  time  ,  and  outside  of  club  meetings  .  trying  to  make  bonds  and  make  reasons  to  enjoy  this  town  more  than  the  city  that  never  felt  like  home  .

                            ❛❛  not  a  clue  .  did  you  need  in  there  ,  or  .  .  .  ?  ❜❜   he  recognizes  the  voice  ,  if  only  through  reputation  .  the  gruff  tone  that  he’d  been  warned  to  steer  clear  of  .  he’s  kind  of  a  jerk  ,  he’d  been  warned  .  yet  that  does  not  deter  .  it  only  earns  the  other  a  (  what  he  hopes  is  )  friendly  smile  ,  a  simple  shrug  of  his  shoulder  .  mention  of  disappearances  has  him  pausing  ,  quickly  making  up  for  it  with  a  nod  .   ❛❛  that  would  make  sense  .  i’m  sure  we  could  find  a  teacher  and  ask  though  ?  if  you  wanted  ,  that  is  .  ❜❜

           glasses come,  eyes open,  and his world strengthens,  unfocused tuned to reflect and carriage kept in a glass container.  he is awake,  and alive,  as much as he can be.  as much as he’ll ever be.  what does that make of them ?                                  ❛ thank you for lending me your lap. ❜  accident of sleep it might have been,  but the point stands of the gift given to him.  mirth curls at his lips and ikki contemplates sitting up.  is it worth it ?            not until he’s asked to.  fingers reach to find souji’s own.  maybe he doesn’t have to say anything about this,  at all.

          FINGERS  SLIP  FROM  CURLS  AS  HUES  DRAW  OPEN  ONCE  MORE  ,  instead  move  to  trace  at  his  jaw  .  trace  each  line  ,  each  mark  ,  each  fading  scar  that  mars  such  beautiful  skin  .  because  they  are  ikki  ,  as  much  as  the  rest  of  him  .  and  souji  intends  to  adore  all  of  him  .                             ❛❛  any  time  .  you  look  peaceful  when  i  do  .  ❜❜   whenever  they  share  a  space  so  that  ikki  may  sleep  ,  the  taller  notices  .  makes  an  effort  to  offer  his  space  so  that  nightmares  may  not  plague  as deeply  .           fingers  tangle  then  ,  and  soon  enough  souji  is  leaning  down  to  brush  lips  o’er  his  boyfriend’s  forehead  .  smile  does  not  fall  far  behind  .

           the world he wakes up to is not the one of his dreams,  their walls are not painted blue.  he is not in a cell.  ikki squints at the face above him,  making out what he can without his glasses.  it is enough.  he remembers.  what embarrassment he should feel for having fallen asleep doesn’t come.  it is not the first time.  it will not be the last.                                  ❛ mmh. ❜  a cherub’s mouth,  head tips back into hand.  eyes close again but sleep doesn’t come.             ❛ …  how long was i asleep ? ❜

          EYES  SCRUNCH  UP  BELOW  HIM  ,  and  already  is  a  pale  hand  reaching  for  glasses  that  he’d  set  on  the  coffee  table  once  dark  hues  had  fallen  closed  and  breath  had  drawn  slower  .  slips  them  over  the  bridge  of  ikki’s  nose  so  that  he  can  see  the  one  holding  him  .  but  smile  draws  across  lips  as  his  boyfriend  wakes  further  .
