It’s always insane to me when people DM me to yell at me about breaching their DNI because I reblogged a post from them

Like how chronically online are you that you’re checking the blogs of everyone who reblogs from you

And I genuinely mean that. Even if the post only has like 10 notes at best. How much free time do you have to check the blogs of all 10 of those notes, and then go OUT OF YOUR WAY to message anyone who doesn’t fit your strict guidelines for human interaction. And I know some of y’all don’t just check but you DIG, because some of the stuff I get DMed about is not advertised on my blog as soon as you look at it.

How do you all survive outside of the internet when every persons political opinions and stances on fictional content aren’t displayed to you right off the bat.

Like I’m not kidding. That’s not normal. You are not the normal one in this situation. Please put your phone down for at least a week and go outside.

6 walks later…my knees and feet would like to see me drawn and quartered for the abuse today, and I’m wide awake which is Bad because I need to be up in 8 hours but ya know. Idk that I’ll do anything tonight beyond try to put some aesthetics in the queue to make up for my lack of presence this weekend. I am not taking dogs beyond Granger tomorrow. Her three visits are more than enough. So I might squeak some writing in. I might nap in between. No idea. We’ll see what pain levels dictate.

Today starts a crazy “weekend” for me because I have a dog sitting tonight through Sunday, extra bookings being sprung on me for tomorrow, and I don’t know what else. So I am not stating any plans to get anything done or I’ll jinx myself.

Hello to anyone new. Reminder that I am mutuals only, and I perform a weekly purge of those who have skipped over checking out my rules page. I am also currently on low activity due to life and health kicking my ass, thank you to all for their continued patience at my snail pace.

See if there is an encampment near you. If you cannot join, bring food, face masks, tents, first aid supplies. If you can’t do that, find who’s organizing bail funds for your areas and donate. If you can’t do that, spread the word about actions in your area, tag your local news stations and reps in videos and share. It is making a difference.
