In Russia a girl was caught and detained after peaceful(!) anti-wаr protest, as well as >4000 other people that day. Policemen threatened, punched and harassed her - and she managed to record their talk. This is the English transcript and you guys need to read it.
This is just a tiny spec of how Russian government treats its citizens (not to mention you get huge fines and facing prison for just posting/talking about war or begging to stop it!). And to all foreigners who say russians are too lazy to protest or they don’t care enough to stop it - I want you to think how privileged you are to be able to hold peaceful protests and express your opinion in your country.
This is what our democracy, freedom of speech and keeping peace looks like. Read it. I’m amazed by this girl.

if you're from Ukraine, you have a uterus and don't want to be pregnant:
1. First of all AVOID AT ANY COST people and sites that have the name of "Ordo Iuris" or "pro-prawo do życia" (translate: pro-life). If you see a logo of fetus inside a heart, run.
Pro-prawo do życia foundation informed that one woman from Ukraine contacted them, asking for abortion. She barely spoke polish, which they admitted without any shame, that's why she thought that if they talk about abortion, they can provide it. They informed that they "explained children are not killed in Poland" and that now she's "in a safe place where no harm can come to her and her baby". I don't have words for how fucking inhuman it is to manipulate traumatized woman into carrying pregnancy she's not ready for since she's a refugee with no finances.
2. If you need abortion, contact:
Aborcyjny Dream Team
Ciocia Basia (abortion in Berlin; they can be found on facebook and theor email is [email protected])/ Ciocia Czesia (abortion in Czech Republic)
Abortion without borders (all of the above cooperate with them)
They will give you information on how to perform safe abortion with right medicaments or will help to travel abroad.
3. If anyone would try to threat you, remember than in Poland it is still legal to do abortion yourself, that's why it's mostly done with pills. Don't let them manipulate you. Fuck these people. You're not evil for needing abortion.
Please, help me spread this message and translate it in Ukrainian, please

There's an update on the case: after several lawers were unable to locate her during the night (the police withheld the information on where she was), Marina Ovsayannikova has been found in a Moscow court. She has been fined for 30000 rubles (~280 USD as of now) for advocating for unauthorized demonstrations, and she is still being investigated further
A woman on live Russian national television carried out a poster against the war and propaganda, here's the clip:
She chanted "stop the war, no to the war", and the poster reads: "stop the war, don't believe the propaganda, they're lying to you here"

#нет войне#i really hate it here. i was so worried about her but#it makes sense that they let her go#at least for now#when the attention of so many people is on her#it would just show everyone how messed up they act#i honestly dont know if i should just post here about all of it now#but i feel like i want to spread the information the way i can so please bear with me

Mass cultural boycotts of Russian culture such as banning books by Dostoevsky, the Bolshoi, pulling Russian films from film festivals, operas, plays etc is extremely wrong because a disgraceful autocrat is carrying out atrocities that is not in the name of the Russian people. The bastardization and degrading of culture is always wrong and it can expand to wider barbarity and dehumanization. Censoring Russian art is not an anti-war position.

Please share with any Russian artists you know
As you know Paypal has stopped working in Russia and Twitter has been blocked so i have copied a thread on there for any Russian artists desperate right now. @xla-hainex this might help you. Paysend currently working. How it works below (Tutorial by -Seraphim)
Note Paysend isnt perfect /(neither is Paypal), make sure it is the legitimate Paysend site you use reviews in Russian - https://ru.trustpilot.com/review/paysend.com
Article ' Surviving in a world without Paypal and Swift Codes'
Payoneer is still working (with VPN + Tinkoff and only with some banks). You can also connect Patreon and Payoneer. Buymeacoffee works, supports money withdrawal to russian bank accounts. in fact, it is a direct analogue of ko-fi. Google doc with alternatives (In russian ) - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Y8GLyrtF271Erlj93LcQXVubAIwpZ5-QtVrDu4XTyiI/edit#gid=0 I hope this helps. Every single artist i know in Russia hates this war and they are being punished for something their totalitarian dictator of a leader is doing.

i will donate a portion of my earnings to OVD-info, which is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that provides legal and financial aid to those who got detained at protests in russia
i can’t take any more illustrations commissions sadly because they’re very time- and energy-consuming, but i can def do character and icon commissions. please also take note that it may take me more time than usual to finish them for obvious reasons

I have not been online, but I cannot keep silent now.
I am not in Ukraine, I cannot speak on the behalf of the Ukranian people.
I live in Russia.
Today I woke up to find the news about the beginning of war: I was terrified, and then I read about what the citizens of Ukraine woke up to. Being in a region that does not border with Ukraine, I can only imagine the terror of those who are still there.
This is not a war of the countries, this is an invasion of a power-hungry government. The people of Russia don't want the war. I am ashamed to be living under a "leader" who allows his greed destroy lives, and I am terrified, both for the Ukranian people and for us.
Today, there have been anti-war protests in the Russian cities, more than 1700 people were arrested. The ordinary people do not want this war, we are angry and we are scared.
Please, listen to the voices of the Ukranian citizens, of the Russian citizens, approach the news you find online critically, double-check the facts and do not spread false information.
