so, in your lisa au, how did the others react to buddys pregnancy (rando,buzzo and tooley), and didany of them assist in the birth?

Speaking of... Hi! You can call Aks or Dora, or whatever you like. I'm writing a Reconciliation AU fic, help Tony run this blog, edit and translate some texts here. Hope my ramblings will help clear some stuff.

So beware. Longpost ahead. Really long post...

Well, first of all, they were shocked a bit. Both Dustin and Bernard gave up the hope for the humanity's restoration as early, as the end of Joyful in our AU and decided to focus all their efforts on maintaining the peace across the land (or better to say, what's left from it...) and try to help the last people of Olathe to finish their twilight in more or less comfortable conditions. Also to assure Buddy has somewhat acceptable safe haven with trustworthy people and at least a bit developed farmstead of sorts, to return to, if she ever decides to come back. Though, it took Buzzo a bit of convincing at first, before he fully hoped on the train, instead of following the plan of leaving the entirety of Olathe behind, with Rando by his side.

When Buddy actually did returned and settled down with the trio, they didn't even bothered to bring up the subject at first. Dustin has always been concerned for his little sister own well-being first and foremost. Tooley was extremely wary of Buddy at the start, but when he got used to her presence a bit, he just began to not care at all, simply avoiding her.

Buzzo is a bit more complicated in that sense. He's always been a bit protective of Buddy, (there're some plot reasons for that, but that's a story for another post) especially in Painful. He also indirectly helped to prevent the accident with Unics at the beginning of Joyful, so there's that. At first, Bernard just doesn't want Buddy to have an experience similar to Lisa's, but then he gets way too attached. So every man, that is closer than 50 meters towards Buddy, gets approximately this kind of treatment:

Luckily, this walking disaster of a person has Dustin to knock some sense into him. Eventually, Buzzo cools down a bit, yes, (especially when Buddy is finally 21) but there's some conflict between this two, because of this. In fact, Buddy starts to hang out with Tooley just to spite Bernard, at first.

So, to sum it up, all three didn't expect Buddy to have a baby anytime soon, or at all, if she so desired.

Now to the more sensitive part. Yes, Tooley is a (very proud) father. But. But! But!!! They have their child, when they're:

Yup. Buddy is 26 and Tooley is 30. They're both grown-ass adults, fully conscious and responsible for their actions. Not to mention, they've been good friends for a decade, maybe a bit less, when both started to catch some weird feels towards each other.

So yeah. Pregnancy was a huge suprise, but not an unwelcomed one.

Speaking of the delivery assisting... well... Bernard, as Yado's ex-protégé and the only one having a degree slightly resembling a medical one was their best option to any kind of help. Buddy was not very distant from others and had most of her trust issues resolved by that time, so she preferred not take a risk and agreed to have some help, while giving birth.
