"New Yorkers bite more people than sharks annually" is an excellent example of how statistics can be misleading. Like yeah no shit, do you have any idea how rare it is to even encounter a shark in the wild? They're not exactly urban animals. I'm pretty damn sure that if sharks were living in big cities like pigeons, just strolling down the streets looking for food scraps, you'd see a lot more news stories about New Yorkers biting them.

and he says it so genuinely that drift could almost believe it. it's dazzling.
and then drift continues to do shady, dangerous shit for the sake of his fresh life among the autobots, now with nightmares about the freshpaint medic's disappointed and disgusted face. lmao
#gotta say empire of stone is a bit of a nothingburger compared to the writing of the main story#the entire city that changed his life has been kidnapped with no trail to follow#he yelled at god about that.#he insisted on self-exile for the sake of the holy mission. the crew was about ready to stone him#and he was helped up from the floor by the one bot who made his divine resolve crack a little to show the hurting heart underneath#and it does feel like some of the tastiest threads here got dropped. resulting in a relatively shallow exploration of his decepticon past#also ratchet's characterization is so tasty on luna I that eos ratchet tastes like ash in comparison#where's the bot who rushes from one suffering mech to the next - cradling their heads and hands - desperate to help#this guy making cranky commentary is funny but like. come on.#suz yells#transformers#dratchet
