Last song I listened to: The Sharpest Lives by My Chemical Romance, which I think is probably my favorite song by them. I need to be in a specific mood to listen to mcr, and today I was in that mood.

Currently reading: shamefully, nothing. Work has been kicking my butt nonstop and I have focused more on writing than reading. I should be able to pick up a book soon, and my current plan is to read Geneva by Richard Armitage. I need a good thriller/crime book, I haven't read one in too long. Alternatively, I might go with a classic Agatha Christie book, because you can never go wrong with Monsieur Poirot.

Currently watching: Well, since the people over at Project Fear are super busy and not publishing a lot because they are still editing the videos, I'm catching up on their old show Destination Fear. I know ghost hunting shows get a lot of bad rep (mostly and rightfully due to Zak Bagans), but these four weirdos are fun to watch, the show is edited well, and the background history of the places they visit is super fascinating to me, I love abandoned places.

Currently craving: butter popcorn and an ice-cold glass of ice tea.

Tea or Coffee: Tea, all the way, always. I drink mugs of tea, not cups lol and multiple of them every day. I don't like coffee, but when I'm particularly tired I drink it for the caffeine boost. However, the way I drink my coffee is not exactly healthy nor Italian lol I put two espressos in a mug, then milk, almond syrup and ice. By the end, you can't even taste the coffee anymore lol

Watching the latest Starbound Aura lore today and I had a cursed thought. When Aura was telling Navi that Asrickus is tall my brain went tall, dark, and handsome. So now in my brain Asri is tall, dark, and handsome and no one can convince me otherwise.

honestly i know i joked about it earlier but like. i hope aura and navi arent actually gay i hope its a really close. friendship. like a codependent mayhaps even toxicly so friendship. love love platonic relationships can we have some more platonic non familial relationships in this fandom please.

I was nodding and agreeing cause I thought the same thing up until I saw the spawn egg and LOST IT. Now I can't get the thought out of my head 😭

my funniest fable confession is before we knew Isla was Icarus's mom, I fully believed Fable just. Mitosis-ed Icarus.

that or I had a vivid vision of fable holding a yellow and purple spawn egg and placing it and out came baby Icarus.

fun silly fable thought/headcanon: was Icarus always supposed to be a bird? because when you think about it, Isla isn't an avian so bird stuff had to be something intentional by fable, but what if he didn't mean for them to come out that way?

what if instead of having wings like a bird, they were meant to have wings like an angel? supposed to be Fable's angel? Supposed to be a servant, to always obey Fable's will and support his every endeavor? But instead something went wrong, instead of being a haunting helper to their father they came out like a free and wild animal?

He wanted them to sing in a devout choir and instead he got a child who chirped with no rhyme or reason other than their feelings. He wanted an eerily beautiful reflection of himself but the person he got had to spend too much time fixing unruly hair and preening disorganized wings. He wanted a child who was above human nature, beyond mortal means, but they were so tied to their human and bird instincts.

Instead of being his lesser carbon-copy, they came out entirely human, bearing a human resemblance of him. Despite how much they look like fable, a bit of Isla's adventurous, free spirited nature bled into them. And at the end of the day they were not obedient. they did learn to question, to stray from their god. And that was his downfall.
