I think this video is the perfect illustration of what Cas meant when he said “I love all of you”.
That’s my headcanon and I stick to it.
You can watch the full video here , it’s totally worth it.
And please don’t forget to like the original and subscribe, this is the least you can do to thank Angeldove for her wonderful work.
What would I do without your smart mouth?
Drawing me in, and you kicking me out
You’ve got my head spinning, no kidding, I can’t pin you down
What’s going on in that beautiful mind
I’m on your magical mystery ride
And I’m so dizzy, don’t know what hit me, but I’ll be alright
My head’s under water
But I’m breathing fire
You’re crazy and I’m out of my mind
‘Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I’ll give my all to you
You’re my end and my beginning
Even when I lose I’m winning
‘Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh
How many times do I have to tell you
Even when you’re crying you’re beautiful too
The world is beating you down, I’m around through every mood
You’re my downfall, you’re my muse
My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues
I can’t stop singing, it’s ringing, in my head for you
Give me all of you
Cards on the table, we’re both showing hearts
Risking it all, though it’s hard
Thesis: People hate social media and the concept of internet friends because it breaks through societal control of social interactions. White kids who live in towns that are 98% white aren’t supposed to have black or brown friends. Teenagers aren’t supposed to know 15 other kids their age who are LGBT, lest they question their own gender and/or sexuality. There are people who hate that kids and young adults are making friends in places other than school, work, place of worship, places within the local community, and family connections, because those are the places where you meet people who are “your kind”, and now it doesn’t matter what worldview adults try to instill in their children. They can be exposed to several other world views, some of which may conflict with the one they were brought up with, by talking to people online from 5 different countries.
Guys, this is really important. Until now, Google collected your data, but did not attach your name to it. Now, they can, and will. This new thing they’re doing will allow them to collect your data across searches, your email, Youtube, Maps, Google+, and all their affiliates, and build a complete profile of YOU.
If that doesn’t bother you, maybe this will: they own and can sell all that data, including anything you create and send (artists and writers, take note).
There is a way you can opt out of this ridiculousness. It’s described in the link, but if you’re still not sure about it, please ask me and I’ll guide you through how to turn all this off.
This is my wake-up call. I’ll be locking down my devices and scaling back what I put through the big Google machine, which means you may see less of me across social media. I’m going to keep researching this, but it may mean in order to keep the rights to my creative work, I’ll have to keep it out of Google’s hands. And that may take some doing.
That last one isn't a con, that is the best perk of them all

Pepsi’s ad is beyond tone deaf. It’s insulting because it trivializes protests down to the point where the act of giving a cop a Pepsi magically fixes everything. Wow, who knew it was that easy? Even worse, it’s an attempt to profit from a disingenuous, whitewashed version of “protesting” where black people - we who suffer most from police brutality - are nearly invisible in their fake “social justice” ad.
John Lewis was nearly beaten to death by police for the “crime” of peacefully protesting. Martin Luther King, Jr. was demonized by the FBI, the police, and finally assassinated because of his Civil Rights activism. The police are not an organization of nice guys who just need someone to give them a Pepsi.
NEWSFLASH: The police have systematically terrorized black people, literally for generations. And black people have been protesting against police brutality for just as long. Because of what keeps repeatedly happening to innocent and unarmed black people like Sandra Bland, Korryn Gaines, Freddie Gray, Eric Garner, Jonathan Ferrell, Mike Brown, Tamir Rice and far too many others. Pepsi’s ad ignores this history and goes out of its way to disassociate the police from police brutality. And make no mistake, if you are not white, publicly protesting against the police IS DANGEROUS. This commercial does those brave activists a disservice by glamorizing protests.
All this ad does is center whiteness, erase black people, and quietly floats the notion that, “hey, maybe the police aren’t such bad guys after all”….
I’m reminded of what Jesse Williams said about white culture first ignoring then commodifying our struggles for profit:
“We’re done watching and waiting while this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us, burying black people out of sight and out of mind while extracting our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil - black gold, ghettoizing and demeaning our creations then stealing them, gentrifying our genius and then trying us on like costumes before discarding our bodies like rinds of strange fruit.”
