I'm just now realizing how Noa's entire worldview has just been shattered. He's gone back to his old life with the clan but still wants to learn more, he took Soona to see the telescope and he looked really deeply affected after seeing that children's book. I kinda hope he gets stuck between the ape and human worlds, slowly learning how bad humans were but seeing how some can be good. It'll be difficult without Raka though (HE'S ALIVE YOU GUYS WHY WOULD THE CREDITS LIE)

That poor boy is gonna go through it in the next movies I'm so ready.

New favorite bg3 ship just dropped

I'm thinking about Wyll/Halsin rn…

Two men with endless patience and wells of kindness within them; who have been hurt time and time again but continue to be gentle and jovial. Who were forced to grow up before their time, and take care of themselves without that same expectation of others. Who hold levels of insecurity so deep within that it has taken root there. Who feel the need to protect, but who protected them?

If anyone could make Halsin see the beauty in Baldur's Gate, it's bright eyed Wyll. And when Halsin murmurs “My hero,” eyes wide and adoring, it is without a lick of insincerity. 

They both want to be dads - and they would be such sweet ones together! Gentle parenting squared. Wyll is the one I could see joining Halsin in Reithwin and rebuilding. There is a lot of potential!!

I really like the mirror of Ashton and Fearne both carving their own path after facing their past that had their destiny laid out before them. I think it's a really beautiful theme for each character and I like how they both share that with the unique connection through the shards. Personally I think it would be more meaningful if they kept it platonic but that's not what I'm here to talk about.

Implying it was destiny for them to share that connection with the shard even from the volcano kinda rubs me the wrong way and I'm still not sure why.

I'm really just gonna need a convo preferably between Ashton and Fearne where she explains her sudden change of heart and forgives Ashton. She was super hostile towards him and very adamantly against the shard just the day before for her to suddenly go with it without a single conversation. I need her to explain her feelings to really make her faith in her friends concrete, I think that will help me accept what happened.

Or they just won't because it's BH and I'll just retcon it in my mind that they were in the feywild for a week and they had a very nice accepting conversation and everything was sunshine and rainbows.

Also I'm assuming Ashley made that decision because she forgot how much time had actually passed in game since they can record weeks apart and iirc she doesn't have the best memory so mightve just forgotten that it hasn't been long. I know especially in C3 it feels like the group has known each other for years but it's been like 4 months in game or something- so I'm heavily considering that to be a factor that informed that decision.

I'm not mad at any of the players to be clear, just feeling not great about the timing of the decision.

The break after next week will be really good for me to ruminate in all of this, similar to how it took me a while after 77/78

I'm just gonna pretend that they were in the feywild for like a week and had a nice long conversation about what the shard means to Fearne and her true newfound trust in her friends to protect her from the bad side

Critical role C3 Ep 78 spoilers

I posted this to Twitter but I'll put it here too

I was gonna watch the rebroadcast tomorrow morning but I'm shocked with how bad the aftermath hurt and I don't know if I can go through that again.

I'm really liking the conflict in the party, but damn not a single person even trying to console Ashton for any reason for his mistake really bums me out. After everything they've been through, they just all assume he was intentionally being selfish or had ulterior motives ?

Maybe I'm dumb but I'm failing to see how they all feel betrayed when NONE of them ever talk to each other enough to reach a real conclusion on these types of things. They all forced the shard to Fearne without actually considering her thoughts on it and dogpile Ashton when he took initiative??

I'm not saying Ashton isn't in the wrong, I'm saying the others are not reacting rationally.

None of them comforted him after the whole ordeal it was an immediate "wtf Ashton" but the opposite when Fearne said she never even wanted it. But with Fearne, no one (but Ashton) accepted that she didn't want it. They were all convinced that Ashton coaxed her into giving it up without realizing they are all actually in the wrong for continually trying to convince her to take it when she made her stance very clear!

They're all hypocrites, Ashton included, but it's getting frustrating

They all have the right to be angry but Laudna literally wants to KILL HIM???

I guess their reactions make sense because they still don't know his reasoning behind that choice, (thus think it was malicious intent) but that in it off itself is a huge problem. THEY STILL HAVEN'T TALKED ABOUT IT AS A PARTY. And it doesn't excuse them being so nasty to him, it's like he's a stranger.

What terrible timing to miss LOB. What Orym could've done and said to calm everyone down

Mr robot series finale spoilers

I really thought Whiterose was right, that there actually was another world. I was about to go off on the show about how the whole story was pointless if none of it even happened, like a fool. Trust in Sam Esmail is what I have learned today.

I never thought they would actually say the words Dissasociative Identity Disorder LET ALONE explain it as well as they did. From the little knowledge I have about it, I think they explained it quite well and the meaning behind the huge building and theatre is really really cool. It's a great way of explaining an alter.

I remember when we first found out Mr Robot was an alter I was really unsure about him being portrayed as the main antagonist, something about it felt wrong to me, and now looking back it's still really weird because he's supposed to be the protector. Unless he was antagonistic because Mastermind shouldn't have been taking over as much as he had been, and then after a while just allowed it. Or maybe he wanted some of that freedom or control Mastermind had?

I dunno but I'm gonna be watching a lot of analysis videos and interviews.

They could've started the show with the knowledge that Mastermind was an alter but keeping it a mystery and being very sneaky with the foreshadowing and hints was an extremely clever and made for one of the best viewing experiences of my life

I cannot wait to rewatch the show in this new light

About to watch the series finale of Mr Robot

I'm expecting a time skip where Elliot and Angela are married are probably have kids and are all happy and I'm not ready for that

I never know what to expect from this show so I really hope I'm wrong
