TikTok has banned LGBT content

I think some people might not know, so I’m spreading this, but TikTok has banned LGBT content.

For that reason, I’m not going to be reblogging TikTok videos anymore, and I encourage you to do the same.

I know it’s hard. TikTok felt like getting Vine back, but they’re scummy homophobic poo-poos and I feel like we should take a stand against that.

You know, I’ve been thinking...

Old scene bands are amazing, and I’m glad that we’re all still listening to them and rocking out to their music! However, I think we should also acknowledge the scene bands of today! After all, it is a scene revival, not just a scene reminiscing :p So if you guys want, reblog this post and add three (or less (or more!)) new bands that you feel really would fit in the scene community! I’ll start :3

Three bands I like that I think should get more attention in the scene community are:

-Nights Like Thieves: They’re so amazing!!!! Check out their album “Light the Fuse and Run,” it’s great!! I’ve been listening to that entire album on repeat. They make some really catchy music that you can tell had a lot of heart put in them, and I just really like them :3 I would call their style mainly pop/punk rock!

-Zombie Schoolboy: Another pop punk/pop rock/alternative rock band I like is Zombie Schoolboy!! One particular album I’ve been listening to a lot from them is “Flashlights in a Dark Place!” They make a lot of songs about heartbreak and breakups, though they tend to vary in tone. If you’re into that, check them out! Even if you haven’t experienced a breakup or anything like that, I still recommend their music, as I haven’t either :p They’re good!

-NU-95: I would say that they’re a post-hardcore metalcore band. Two songs I really like from them would be “The Runaways” and “War.” “The Runaways” is catchy and gets my adrenaline going!!! “War” makes me want to go out and do what I’m too afraid to do!!! :D Check out their album “NU-95!”

All of these bands have put their songs on YouTube, Spotify, and Bandcamp, so check them out! (I don’t have Spotify but they’re there if you have it and want to listen to it!)

(P.S. You don’t have to give a short summary of the bands if you don’t want to or if you aren’t able to! Feel free to just listen them if you want :D)
