Started working on another album cover blanket last year and now that Joann's is gone (was using their store brand and not sure when it'll be available again thru other retailers) I was v worried I didn't have enough green yarn and was hoping the two small balls of it I had leftover would be enough to finish the project

Getting to a complex part of the pattern where I'd prefer not to have to ration my green yarn so I decided to dig through my closet bc I was like half-sure I had at least a little bit more and found AN ENTIRE SKEIN

was driving home today and a fucking bird hit my car and i guess fell through my open window onto my passenger seat

had a very comical 3 minutes where i was freaking the fuck out, trying not to crash the car (nobody else around on a quiet road thankfully), worrying the bird was dead bc it wasn't moving

and then it woke up and started flying around my car while i was still in motion, thank fucking god it figured it out and flew out the window again

i hope it didn't have a bird concussion from the impact
