Completed all the Homicipher endings! Great game everyone I highly recommend everyone to play it. Though it may never be updated, I think the existing content is pretty good at tying up most ends and it doesn't feel like a whole lot is missing.

omg I'm glad you love it tbh i kinda hate the fandom when it comes to me crawling since they like infantalize? him a lot and omg mr silvair and scarlatella 💔💔💔 i think you'll at least like mr hood hes so awesome hes my second favorite in the game

also no girl routes as far as I'm aware and btw there MIGHT be updates if the dev decides to come back but don't try to get your hopes up THAT much

ohh that sucks </3 the only interaction I've had with mr hood is the beginning but I also just finished chap 2 so more to come I hope. he was the one who taught me about wall floor and light so he is forever a star to me. its pretty cool so far, idk what is w mr scarletella and names (but bc I love discovering new ways to die I told him anyway and mr crawling had my back <3) and this mr gap looking thru the holes is weird but at least he asks nicely if he can have my leg so I'll let him off.

the game isn't unfinished the thing about them updating was more or less adding new scenarios and endings but i think it's still worth playing esp since they made some pretty interesting characters

also on the note of their concerning tweets i feel like iffy about them because theyre clearly mentally ill but basically what they were saying is that they have violent thoughts and it seeps into their work (i mean homicipher IS a horror otome game and the mc is a serial killer) but i still think the game is nice even if the devs intentions when making the game was mainly for people to love and affirm their beliefs (saying that bc they said in a couple of tweets that people loving the game and liking their work is just people agreeing and affirming their belief of violence or something but now idk if they still think thag considering all the backlash)

that's...i dont know what to say about that but i really hope they're doing better TTTT

about the weird tweets: from what I've heard it sounds like the dev was mentally ill and had violent thoughts. whether or not putting those thoughts on twt was the right decision aside, a lot of people started calling them psycho over it. Imo I feel bad for them, sounds like they had problems before, then the sudden popularity boom got to them, the issues got worse and they posted about them, and then a lot of people attacked them for it. I think they needed help, not ostracization ;; (not saying twt was supposed to "help" somehow, just that they should've been more understanding and not attacked them over it. thoughts =/= actions yk?)

ohhhhkayyy my very brief search didn't mention any of this 😭 it is very unfortunate, and I hope they're able to get the help they need and are in a better space. twitter is really sucky as it is and I can't imagine how frightening everything must have been. i think social media in general is a terrible place to be if you're mentally not doing well (for me anyway) and all the sudden exposure probably made it worse for them too.

i think you'll maybe like homicipher but also I'll warn you now to not expect new content being added to the game bc people started harassing the dev and they just quit, tbh i don't know how to feel about that considering how weird their tweets were but it's still a nice game that they worked alone on so i do still feel bad for them in some aspect

i did a quick search to find out what the situation waa about and the public sentiment seems to be the dev just wasn't ready for all the comments sent their way? i didn't look into it so idk what weird tweets they made but i think getting a lot of attention in such a short period of time can be very overwhelming and scary. it's a shame they won't be updating it any further. would you say it's worth playing anyway? i don't mind an unfinished game but if it's just a demo i might not want to try haha

personally i dont support their decision to monetize the platform esp because their program just takes from existing work by other people. apart from that i generally dont like the use of ai in writing and roleplay for the same reasons
