By the way, I know a lot of us were all "????" about Gyeon-u's bad luck, wondering whether it was a curse or something, but there was a blink-and-you-missed-it line by Yeomhwa in one of the later episodes where she says that his entire life has been miserable because he was absorbing all of his family's misfortune.

So that means that his family avoiding him like the plague weren't actually superstitious that his bad luck would rub off on them, they were afraid that their bad luck would return to them, where it belonged.

So, you know. There's that.

To add onto the previous post, the developers of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time uploaded a very New Horizons-like trailer for the game on April Fools' Day shortly before the game was released, calling it "Life Crossing: Fantasy Horizons " with a very Animal Crossing-styled logo.

This trailer features the Raccoon costume mentioned before, being donned by a character named "Tim Crook", music that is almost infringing levels of similar to the New Horizons theme, and jokingly simple animalese and dialogue boxes near the end of the video.

This video has since been removed from Level5's channel, but it's clearly just the developers cracking a few jokes at the similarities between the two games.

while this is, in fact, the name of the pastry, it’s ALSO the name of a species of wasp for some reason. the genie, being a nasty trickster, will no doubt give you a bunch of wasps.
