just saw an Insta post from a sailor who'd been at sea and was adjusting to life on land again: forgetting that people can in fact see you through the windows when you're dressing, forgetting the plates or pans won't slip so she was like reaching really far to grab something and holding the pan on the stove at the same time, forgetting you can't just throw spoiled food over the side and feed some fish
