HIGHLY recommend having a Shepard with a face scar in ME1 because it disappears in ME2 with the whole Lazarus thing and that comes with an extra layer of subtle horror. You’ve been dead for two years. Cerberus took possession of your body, resurrected you, and implanted you with metal enhancements, and on top of it all you’re now missing a major facial feature.
