I saw an Opera today! La Rondine from the Met: Live in HD.

Under the cut because of yapp

It was the first time I've ever seen an opera (and lets be honest I never would have given it a chance if it wasn't for LoP. I mean Estella Opera House? How could I not try viewing a real opera?). Our local movie theater sometimes has these live broadcasts of plays or ballets and I jumped at the opportunity today.

Now I can say I've seen a Bolshoi Ballet (The Taming of the Shrew) , a Met Opera (La Rondine) and the musical Wicked (I saw this one in an actual theater, not a cinema, in Texas a couple years ago. Really cool).

Funny fact about me and Wicked: What I know about the Wizard of Oz, I learned because of Wicked. I've never seen the Wizard of Oz movies nor read any of the books.
