I'm not going to say where I'm from for safety reasons, but my First anime depends highly on the semantics of that question. Speed Racer was the first anime I saw episodes of, RWBY is what got me into the anime medium (if you count it as anime), and Dragonball Super was the first anime I watched once I started actively seeking out anime.
That post about death note being "everyone's first anime" (untrue statement) made me curious and now I want to gather data for science
Can you reblog this and tell me where are you from and what was your starter anime?

Knowing that trans women of color started the movement in the united states and were literally immediately erased and excluded from what they started is the most deeply jading knowledge.
It is the original sin of the so-called queer community and it damns it from the cradle.

there is not much point it to this it's basically just a collection of facts but anyways. i recently finished watching d20 starstruck which is a sci-fi campaign using modified DnD rules specifically made for spaceships and stuff. and then i started Ethersea which griffin said was kind of an alternative to a sci-fi space opera, and he decided to set it underwater and homebrew the mechanics, and i was surprised now that i know that there are other existing mechanics he could've used for ship combat, but it turns out i love the Ethersea system it is SO cool and works so well. and in fact griffin did a stream with brennan to discuss his homebrew mechanics, and in fact this stream took place a few months before they filmed starstruck, so likely shortly before brennan started developing the starstruck season and decided to use the sci-fi SW5e system. so idk sorta cool that they were doing similar things around this time! anways starstruck enjoyers will recognize this sound effect that brennan made during that stream lol

when talking about AI remember the different versions:
Analytical AI, is the one that can detect cancer and save lives
Generative AI is the one that steals art to make it worse, and gives you a wrong answer every time you google something
Weird Al is the one who got his ponysona to canonically have children with a pony from my little pony

One of the coolest things to remember is that because prey animals have eyes on the side of their head, they are looking at you when they're in profile, not facing you! Hot tip for artists and animal lovers!
