"Oooh very terrifying!" She had to throw her leg up quickly to avoid the stray leaping towards them but it was all very amusing to see happen live in front of her. Still she did want to know a little bit more about creature and that meant having to help out much to her dismay. Playing a role she wasn't expecting to be put in at all...
"Fine I suppose I can help you out. But cut the whippersnapper part out next time alright?" After all it was the least she could do. All it would take was walking in front and taking a squat a distance away from the on edge stray.
"Now now, let's all be friends here alright? You wouldn't want to mess with two toughies like us would you? Scurry off before you get hurt."
And like that their entire demeanor changed, almost as if they seen a ghost. Or something much more horrifying but all that everyone else saw was just a young woman and her newfound pet.
"Spared done and dusted. Now then..." She knelt back done, twirling her mask in front of him with a smile. "...You said you were a God did you not? Never seen a fox like you say that before."
"Grandpa?" Enki turns around and looks at the woman's face appraisingly. The mask rings familiar but he knows he's never seen this person before in his long life. "I would very well remember having a kit as impudent as you."
While Enki is distracted, the stray leaps at him. Enki barely manages to avoid the cat, but yelps as their claws shear off a few feathers on his rump. He ducks behind the woman's legs, putting her bodily between the cat and himself, pinning his ears back.
"Clearly this unintelligent, irreverent creature knows not whom they challenge, and I am not so cruel as hand down prejudiced punishment to those weaker! Won't you help me spare this creature's life, whippersnapper?"

"Caught in a downpour? The weather around this time of the year can be reeeeal awful."
With how quickly Sparkle revealed herself underneath the same roof one had to wonder if the fool was already there to begin with. But she along with him were really just victims of Mother Nature today, nothing more nothing less. Her comment still stood however, why the hell was it raining so hard in a season like this?

"Next time you should probably bring an umbrella. You never know when you might end up without any assistance and no clothes on your back."
{ ✧ Sparkle | @sparklingsplendor }
Oh, it's just his luck that it starts pouring completely out of nowhere. Pulling the hoodie he wears up over his head in an attempt to block himself out from getting completely drenched, Lloyd takes a look at his surroundings - scoping out the nearest place with a roof he could get into to camp out at until the rain lets up.
Luckily for him, he isn't too far from one! Unfortunately, it's an outside roof, but he'll take it. Rushing beneath it, Lloyd pulls off his hoodie once he gets there, letting out a loud groan of frustration as he does.
"Where the heck did this rain even come from? I swear, it was clear just a minute ago."
Lloyd grumbles beneath his breath, wringing out his now soaked hoodie, completely unaware of his surroundings and those around him.

"A little bit of revenge? That sounds up my alley..." Or at least if she was given a role to play someone in said plan. Otherwise she was more then content with playing a side character. So long as it was somewhat interesting to keep Sparkle entertained through it all.
"Still you mentioned something about people messing with your horse? What's that all about? They hate horses or did you do something to rile 'em up."
"I ain't opposed to it," she says with a shrug. "S'long as you know what you're blowin' up."
(She's speaking as someone with experience blowing holes into trains and clearing landslides.)
"Don't think I'm gonna need to do any literal mind blowing... 'cept maybe to the people who messed with my horse. How am I 'sposed to find any horseshoes his size?! Now that'd be a gift fer the holidays... Hah!"

"I mean if you like dynamite I suppose it could be used." It wasn't her first choice but someone had to be a little adventurous with their own little idea...
"Something more like fireworks. 'Course if your plan was to do the later of my statement then dynamite might be your best option."
"What, like... dynamite?"
Maria is stumped. She might be taking the "blow their mind" part too literally...
"Does this have anything to do with the story 'bout the pilgrim who blew up the demons?"

"Ooh so you can talk!" Not that she should feel threatened by something so small but it was interesting to see them understand her. Better then the alternative, which was trying to speak through some backwards methods...
"If you want me to leave I can leave. But I can assure you whoever else that comes by might not be such a nice fella. Wouldn't it be better to rely on someone's hand right now?"
Though if the fool wanted to be pushed away she'd oblige. There were plenty of things to do that didn't involve an encounter like this.
"Unless you're just embarrassed.~~"
"No" is the first feeling that comes to mind when Tini is faced with somebody who is putting their attention directly on them. Immediately, the snail backs away, but there isn't much of anywhere to go. They can't go up, they can't go down, they can't go to the side...
Tini pauses for a moment when the woman speaks. Somehow, Tini can understand her. It's been so long since they've talked to someone that they can understand. For a moment, Tini lowers their guard.
And then, she gets too close. If Tini could bristle, they would.
"No!" Tini shouts, though it's not very intimidating when they're as small as they are. "Get away from me!"

"Well well well who do we have here?"
It wasn't often Sparkle saw practically anyone live around these parts. She knew it wasn't completely abandoned but most people went in and out without so much as a single word. Running into anyone was more of a rarity then she thought for places that should've been packed. Though nothing could've prepared her from almost taking one step up and spotting something out of the corner of her eye.
"You're so small! I'm almost impressed nobody else stepped on you before me." Unless it managed to get here after almost getting stepped on throughout the day. Still the fool knelt down and held out her hand wit ha smile, both as a sign to "help" and get a closer look.
"Well come on, unless you want someone to come by and do the opposite of what I'm doing."
@sparklingsplendor
Maybe the right move is to get inside. If they can find a quiet place, maybe they can find materials, and then they can make something that portrays how terrified they're feeling.
They've been told that they have a home at the top of these steps. But... they're steps. They're a challenge for somebody who's only an inch tall. If they had their spear, they might've been able to use it to help themselves climb... but they don't have it.
Surprisingly, though, Tini has still managed to surmount several of the miniature mountains. Through nothing but sheer will— and a lot of struggling.
However, they've tuckered themselves out. They're too tired to try going up another one.
At least there hasn't been any foot traffic, and there won't be. ...Right?

"Well if your offering then who I am to say no." Not wanting to take credit was certainly an odd choice. Unless her goal was to still try and get a leg up on Sparkle. Which might have been a good choice considering she was playing this all by ear in the heat of the moment. Against who she could only assume was a professional to some degree...

"Some people like that sort of thing you know. All happy with their titles and accolades of being the hero of the day. You don't seem like that type of gal but I had to check."
🐀 "Actual saviour? Is there some reason you're trying to pawn the credit off on me? It would be a bad read on your part if so, I'm not the kind of person that wants credit for things like this." The girl expressed another behaviour that raised a red flag from Jane's experience as someone who blended in with criminals for a living.
Did she have an angle here? She looked young, but Jane wouldn't let her guard down because of that.
"I insist you take the credit, you see. Unless you're claiming I take the credit because you really were planning on running off with it yourself?"

"Wow I never thought I'd see the day. A stray in a city like this actually putting up a fight, and winning on both fronts~~!"
Their competition was some kind of fox creature, something that looked like a more demented version of her mask. But even then free enjoyment didn't often show up right in front of Sparkle and she'd be a fool (quite literally) not to savor the moment.
"Come on you gonna let yourself get beat up by a lil' feline like that? Put a bit of your backbone into it grandpa! Don't want an embarrassing defeat now do you?"
"Such insolence!" Enki jumps back to avoid yet another swipe from an overly aggressive stray cat, bristling and fanning out his tail in response.
"This," he barely manages to dodge another attack, "is no way to treat a god!" The cat pounces at him, landing in the place he was just a second ago and hisses. Enki growls back.

"And why would I ever do that? Do I look like the type of person to roam around and start stirring up trouble?"
The answer to the question was a resounding "yes" of course. But the fool would never admit it outright. And especially not to someone who had already seen her put on such performances.
"I'm just playing~~. No messes for me here while I'm vacation. Unless you have need of my services for whatever reason you want Lil' Miss Songbird."
@sparklingsplendor
🎶 "And to what do I owe this honour, Miss Sparkle?" Robin had suffered identity theft and the ruining of a party at this girl's behest, but even so she maintained her usual polite visage when the first familiar face approached her. She was assuming the worst, but it was likely more like a meet and greet.
"Surely you can't already be planning on creating more messes for me to clean up?" It wasn't like she had the backing that she had in Penacony here.

"Well that IS how roommates work isn't it?"
Unless there was some small rule Sparkle was missing it only made sense these two were now stuck with each other, for better or for worse depending on who one asked. Bad enough someone dealt with her on a daily basis but living together with a fool might drive anyone up the wall...
"You could say I've been here awhile. I had another place but I guess something happened to it so they moved me here." Even with her partner in crime, but it just wasn't meant to be.
"So now its just us two! Ain't that grand.~~ What's your name?"
[🛸] Promosis nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard a voice addressing her. "Ah." Thankfully though, she only fumbled the toaster a little instead of dropping it.
"...Yes I am new.." She responded, then set the toaster back down on the counter. "You live here as well? That means we will live together?" 'How exciting!! I've never lived with anyone before! ...Well not since...well, for a long time!'

"Of course you can! I'm sure they'd love to meet the actual savior of their bag rather then lil ol' me."
After all while Sparkle loved to take credit when she could take up the spotlight. But today's events weren't all accomplished by her and someone else deserved to be center stage for once. Even if the woman seemed just a bit thorough even by Sparkle's standards
"They don't live too far from here. If you'd just follow me of course~~"
🐀 "Hm~! So your assertion is that this bag was stolen from someone else and you're looking to return it, is that it?" It wasn't an implausible explanation, but Jane considered herself to be a good judge of character. This girl was used to moving about in the shadows and had met plenty of colourful characters. This girl was young, but she was plenty colourful.
"Then I suppose you won't mind if I accompany you to deliver it to its rightful owner?" She dangled the purse over the girl's head and pulled it back over and over like a yo-yo. "There must be an ID inside to show who it belongs to?"

"Wow a little bit hostile don't you think?" It was pretty easy to tell that the individual just wasn't having any of the fool's shenanigans. A first for sure considering how many people usually fell for her "situations" but one she still just wanted to see how far both were willing to go.

"That's what I was going to ask you. I mean you look like you've been staring into space the entire time since you walked to this corner. Pretty suspicious yourself if you ask me."
@sparklingsplendor
🌙 - It didn't take long for Hakuno to realize that this girl was that type of character. The mischievous and annoying type, one that triggered a flash of purple in the back of her mind for a brief moment once it occurred to her that the girl didn't seem to plan on leaving her alone.
"I already gave you my name, right? Is there something else you need from me, Sparkle? Assuming that's your real name." It definitely wasn't. She knew a fake name when she heard it!

"Woooow look at you. I'm impressed!"
Really she would've been more surprised if he didn't manage to get it in the first place. But credit had to be given when it was due, sometimes even the brightest of people would trip over the smallest of problems.
"If you want I wouldn't be opposed to it. I'll even give you the floor to see if you can catch me off guard too. It's only fair after getting mine correctly."
He almost says tsukumogami, but what are the chances she has any idea what he's talking about? It has to be something more common.
Besides, born from air was a big clue.
'Hmm,' Yagen begins, hearing his voice in his own head. Oh. Things click quickly after that.
'It's an echo, isn't it.'
He studies her reaction. 'Did you want to try for best out of three?'

"What you've never seen an appliance before?"
She'd heard about others suddenly getting roommates before at random times throughout the seasons. But even Sparkle expected someone who wasn't going to be so excited at even the smallest littlest thing. The more the merrier she supposed...
"You can throw anything in there and it'll be heated for you in a few minutes." Maybe not everything but little steps. "Anyway hi there! You new here or something? Thought I was the only one living here."
@sparklingsplendor
🏡 Wow. A home! "This is amazing." Promosis commented in an uninterested tone. "I cannot wait to utilize the tools in this area."
She made her way to the kitchen; careful to duck under the doorway as she did so. "Ah. This---" She picked up a toaster. "..What is this...?"
There were so many human tools in this place! So many tools she had never even read about; let alone seen in person.

"Oh? How did that get there.~~" Even if the voice sounded somewhat genuine Sparkle knew that she had been practically caught red handed. The woman that did catch the fool had to have some pretty good reflexes, considering how quick she went through with the entire process.
"Let's just say between you and I that this little bag the person had was someone else's. I usually don't do petty work like this but sometimes even a spectator has to take up a main stage role right?"
@sparklingsplendor
🐀 Jane's tail was quick to reach into the pocket of a young lady without permission, wrapping around and pulling out something that didn't belong to her. "Hm! And what do we have here? Something that doesn't belong to you I'd wager~!" She had been carefully watching everyone who passed her by on the street when much to her surprise she had watched this stranger pull something from the pocket of a sketchy looking man who had walked by.
Based on the gun he was openly carrying, probably not someone good.
"If you tell me why you did that, maybe I'll consider giving it back." She pulled it back behind her so it'd be difficult to grab. It was possible she had done it for a good reason, after all.

The fool did not need to be standing practically on top of someone just in their own little world. But like most things in this world Sparkle got intrigued by the littlest of things that could potentially seem somewhat enjoyable. And one person just swinging their sword like nobody's business seemed like it'd fit that bill. At least for a short while...
"Getting your bearings in the middle of a city? Don't sword fighters usually train in their own homes? Or places where people might not be walking."

@sparklingsplendor liked for a starter!
At first Yunli would think it all a dream, but the more and more details she received, information she had gotten, the more she had come to realize just what kind of situation she had been thrust into without her agreeing to. Even Old Mettle was gone in this place, replaced with a wooden sword--far, far too light for any of the heavy swings she's used to. Still, she practice swings away with a puzzled frown, completely in her own world. She only realized at the last possible second she nearly bonked someone on the head with her wooden sword, it taking a skilled twitch of her wrist to move the blade away. Her tone would be almost nonchalant as she would look at her new phone instead of the one she nearly hit.
"So sorry, trying to get my bearings here. Mind stepping out of my range? I'm kind of occupied."
