RailsGirls Okayama 2nd 開催レポート

2017年2月25日（土）26日（日）に、岡山で第2回目となる、RailsGirlsOkayama 2ndを開催いたしました！✨

今回は少人数で、1対1の対応が出来るように体制を整え、参加者として7人の方が参加してくださいました。

前回もお世話になりました、株式会社spice lifeさんのtmixというサービスでTシャツを作成させていただき、そのTシャツを着て、本番に挑みました。今回もスポンサーしていただき、ありがとうございます！！

コーチと参加者の距離を近くするためのアイスブレイクから始まり、今回は環境構築をいかに楽にするか、というのを考え、CodeanywhereというクラウドIDEを使い、初心者の方でも、プログラミングでモノを作れる環境を手軽に構築しました。

ワークショップ中は、和やかな雰囲気のもと、興味にしたがってコーチと話しながら、アプリケーションを作りました。

また、herokuにあげた段���で、前のスライドに各々のアプリURLを共有し、コーチや参加者が触ってみることで、自分のアプリケーションが公開されている、ということも感じることが出来ました。

ワークショップの終わりに、今後も継続的な勉強を続けていってもらいたい、ということで、岡山にある、RailsGirlsOkayama参加者や、女性たちが月1で集まって勉強する「ギークガールズ岡山」の紹介や、Rubyのコミュニティである「Okayama.rb」の紹介をし、ワークショップを終了しました。

アフターパーティでは、よりコーチと参加者の距離を縮めるために、様々な会話が繰り広げられていました。
