Left my most recent project in Birmingham, so had to stop by Flobby Lobby in Cullman on my way to Decatur to pick up some yarn for a NEW project.

My lovely Lusa :) Ignore the claw marks on the furniture. For what it’s worth I consider the love seat her’s.

Cast on these darling mittens today! First time doing a folded aspect, colorwork, and mittens. Thinking I should have gone up a needle size, but will see if they grow a bit with blocking after finishing the first.

It gets better!

So, I bought a bunch of nail polishes at CVS to paint the cork-stoppers one the ends of my needles so that I can more easily tell which needles are which size.

Been painting the stoppers of my DPNs with nail polish based on needle size. They look pretty nifty if I do say so myself. :)

hi knitting tumblr. um i don't knit but my aunt recently passed and left behind a bunch of extremely high quality yarn. i know very little about yarn and even less about knitting, so i'd like to sell it, and i'm planning on trying ravelry and local facebook groups, but i wanted to see if there's anybody local who is interested.
i live in southern ontario, but the yarn is currently in central ontario. if there's enough interest i could do a yard sale instead of transporting the yarn home? let me know and we'll see
i'm attaching some pics to give an idea of what i've got. this is only a fraction of it. please let me know if you have any interest or know anyone who would be willing to purchase some! i'd also appreciate any more advice on sites, communities, etc. where i could offload some of it.
