took a bit because i fucking hate finishing things, but my Dialtown oc/self insert! his name is Helen, and he's someone who very recently was the victim of a hit-and-run dealing with disability stuff resulting from that causing stress for his school and professional life, more in detail about him under the cut, but it'll be nonsensical bc it's late, and my brain isn't firing on all cylinders rn

basically he grew up with a kinda shitty home life, dad was a shithead but mom and siblings were good though he was general able to live kinda normal and get into college for marine biology while working at Bunny's until one night a drunk driver was following him closely and ended up hitting him once he got out of his car, he wasn't hurt too badly luckily, but generally getting injured stress and the emotional stress was a lot on his body which ended up kickstarting some chronic health conditions he had that hadn't been affecting him all that much until this whole thing

after that he kinda just started to flunk out of college, just believing that his life was over along with doing worse at work due to his new health issues and Bunny being an asshole who doesn't bother to accommodate him, eventually he meets Randy while on a doctor recommended walk to the park and recognizes him as the guy in the dumpster from his work, and they end up hitting it off, starting to hang out when Randy's back at Bunny's while Helen's on his smoke break eventually leading to the two of them dating

I'm thinking that eventually Randy would still get the job at the Funfair due to Gingi in some way and eventually Helen would let Randy move into his apartment mainly out of concern for Randy's health and well-being, but also out of feeling more reassured due to having someone living with him just in case he needs help due to disability stuff

eventually Randy introduces Helen to Oliver due to Helen talking about the costs of transition stuff and Oliver knowing all about that shit and Oliver offers to help him with making a custom phone which he accepts, and they all become closer which eventually leads to poly

at some point Helen meets Harry who helps him get a job at Bear as the prize corner guy which like Jack is still a shit boss but he at least accommodates Helen which is FAR better than Bunny's so he's alright

but yeah, my guy, love him

I’m not entirely sure. Im not “ good “ at these things but I guess I try to follow the “ line of action “ thing, pay attention to weight, make things asymmetrical when applicable, and use and bend simple shapes.
