scott.

scott stops when he sees landon. “ hey man, ” he says before walking to stand beside him at a urinal. “ you having a good night? ” he knows it might be landon’s last – mira filled him in.

     landon looks up as he’s done, grinning up at scott before going to wash his hands. “yeah, i’m having a great time,” he says as the faucet turns on. “there’s free booze and beyonce, so it’s hard for anyone to have a shitty time. are you?”

noah.

“Good to know you’ve always got my back. Sorry Caden, you lose.” She grins. “We gotta keep his ego in check, you know.”

     “of course i do. you’re my favorite in y’all’s relationship,” he teases, but there is some truth to it. noah’s always easier to deal with compared to caden. “we do. i don’t think i could deal with him if his ego was any more inflated.”

grey.

“That’s what I like to hear,” he responded with a grin, using the hand he was holding his with to bring him against him. He really wasn’t one for PDA but sometimes, even he couldn’t help but do a bit of it. He just wants his boyfriend close, so what ? “I don’t know much about music.” Or anything. “If you like her, I guess I will too.” Not like they ever talked about music much, but whatever. “You’re going to force me to dance with you again.”

     landon can’t help but to smile up at him as he gets closer, and for a moment, he forgets that this might be the last time for awhile he’s able to be happy with grey. he shakes his head, “i’m not surprised, but you do need to know beyonce at least.” landon laughs before tilting his head up at grey. “only if you want to. but i would love to.” his bottom lip juts out just a bit as he pouts looking up at him.

parker.

“They aren’t going to give you a chance to get away for a while?” Gallagher had eyes everywhere, Landon probably couldn’t get far. “Are you sure you don’t need help?”

     landon shakes his head, not surprised that parker’s talking to him about this, even if it is the last night he’ll be at gallagher. “i’m really alright, parker.” classic landon to push people away when they just offer to help. “i’m just here to take advantage of the free booze,” he raises his half empty glass as if on cue.

elliot.

“well, if you insist,” elliot shrugged, accepting the shot. “what should we toast to?” she wanted to toast to him not going to jail or maybe i want that, who knows, but she decided against saying that out loud.

     landon smiles at elliot, glad that she’s taking a shot ( or maybe a few ) with him. “feel like we should celebrate one more year at gallagher down.” it’s his last, but he’ll keep that to himself.

jo.

         “ ISN’T HE YOUR FRIEND ? ”   jo scoffs. sometimes it’s hard to believe landon was arrested for murder, and then she remembers who she sees him hanging around with.

     “unfortunately, he is.” landon shakes his head before looking over to jo. “but that’s why i can say it. i have firsthand experiences.”

maia.

“i know you’re more than a little,” she pointed out, giving him a look that said she knew him better than that. it didn’t stop her from smiling anyway and continuing to drag him toward the dance floor. “just make sure you don’t break any of my toes and you’ll be fine. i am convinced i can persuade my boyfriend to the dance floor at least once tonight.” she turned toward him and pulled him close, placing a hand in his and one on his shoulder. 

     “you caught me there,” landon says with a laugh. anyone would be able to tell that landon’s been drinking, but his reasoning is that it’s a party! “i think i’ll be able to handle that,” he replies, knowing that he isn’t that bad when it comes to dancing, even when he’s drunk. doesn’t think he can say the same about her boyfriend though. “hmm, i’m not even gonna try to convince grey to dance with me. the fact that he’s here and not wearing joggers is enough for me.”

caden.

        “ I WAS TRYING TO TELL NOAH THAT YOU’D GET WITH ME IF YOU COULD, ”   he shrugs, like it’s nothing.   “ i know you were lying just so i’d lose the bet, but it’s all good man. i know you’d be into me otherwise. ”   just like his boyfriend.

     landon shakes his head, rolling his eyes at caden. it’s really a curse he’s that attractive with that type of personality. “it was a definite maybe.” sure, jan.

“See you never, Gallagher,” she says, tipping her shot glass at Landon before she downs it. She has lost count how many drinks she’s had, and she’s definitely drunk already. “Cheers to that, huh?”

     landon does the same, barely even making a face as the alcohol goes down. “right, at least now we don’t have to be on our toes all the time.” he looks around for a waiter or something so they can get another. “another shot?” landon asks, having a feeling of her answer.

sebastian​.

“ i  can  see  it  happening ,  it’s  definitely  possible .  but ,  like ,  do  you  think  she’s  sad  to  retire  ?  alcohol  and  sad  vibes  aren’t  it ,  mate .  ”

     “not at all, i’d be just as excited to retire from this place.” his nose crinkles a little bit. “i really people don’t cry, it’ll ruin all the vibes.”

grey.

“Sure you’re not,” the male sarcastically spoke, lacing their hands together and immediately bringing the other’s up to kiss the back of his hand. The end of the year party always had something dooming about it but especially now, he felt like he needed to be with the other as much as possible. “ Is that who’s singing ? ” The male questioned with a shrug, not really having paid much attention to it or her for that matter. “It’s a lot.”

     “well now that you’re here i’ll probably have more fun,” he says softly, feeling butterflies in his stomach at the gentle kiss. landon is still trying to ignore the fact that his trial is coming up soon, but he’s finding that the mix of grey standing in front of him and the shots he’s had so far aren’t doing much to help him. “yes, that’s who that is,” his eyes go wide. he has so much to teach him. “but she’s so great. surely you like her.”

maia.

“come on!” maia exclaimed, grabbing landon’s hand as the music shifted into a slower song, and she dragged him toward the dance floor. “you’re dancing with me. and no, you can’t say no.” when have the men in her life ever told maia no? the answer was probably never. “let’s make our boyfriends jealous,” she teased, turning to smile at her best friend. each day since their apologies had gotten easier for her, and she found that she felt that they were all but back to normal. // @specdracers​

     “not to be that guy,” landon says, an almost lazy smile across his features. right now he’s at a happy tipsy, but he knows the shots he’s been doing with his friends are going to catch up to him soon enough. “but i might step on your toes a little bit. i’m a little under the influence.” definitely more than a little.

“snack break?” margot asks, appearing at landon’s side with two plates of snacks, one for each of them. “call it hangover prevention.”

      “wouldn’t water be the best way of preventing a hangover?” despite his question, landon still reaches for a few of the snacks margot brought him. “okay but also these are exactly what i needed.”

The last time she’d seen Landon had been heavy, a weird feeling floating in the air. Somber, but at the same time the most honest conversation she’d ever had with him. It meant that she had no idea what to expect when she walked over, a plate of tiny appetizers in her hand. “Eat these? I don’t want to carry them anymore.”

     landon raises an eyebrow, squinting down at the plate. maybe he’s a little tipsy and he’s seeing two of them. “what are these?” he probably should eat something so he doesn’t get anymore of a buzz.

– “HEY, DO YOU NEED ME TO BREAK YOU OUT OF PRISON THIS SUMMER?” ricky asks. “ i’ve been rewatching all the oceans movies, and it’s…kind of similar. not to mention the fact that i’m already a sick getaway driver. ” 

     “you’d really try to?” landon’s taking his offer not seriously at all, but he’ll entertain it. “i think we’d be able to pull it off. maybe.” or ricky would just be his cellmate.

Parker reached for another beer, nodding to a familiar face. He was curious what the progress was with the case, the trial, if all of it was thrown out… but was that really good party talk? No. “Are you going to NYC for the summer?”

     “nope,” landon says, popping the last sound dramatically because he’s already tipsy, so sorry to parker in advance. “i’ll be having to stay in the good state of virginia.”
