Trese is a Filipino comic following the many supernatural cases of the supernatural investigator Trese, along with her right hand men, the half god Kambal (literally “twins”) who she helped raise from childhood. 

It’s gorgeous, it’s scary, it’s fascinating, and chock full of the good stuff when it comes to urban fantasy and mythology in the dark and dangerous streets of Metro Manila. But also sometimes at a golf club, or a park, or at a condo beside a school. The supernatural is pretty active here in this country, even in the city. 

It’s some good ol’ fashion comics noir with some good ol’ fashion supernatural kickassery, with a good new fangled Filipino touch. 

It’s got five full volumes of cases and storylines out so far, many of which are free to read on the main site! You can get a whole bunch of tasters there.

Dreadqueen Rathian is one heck of a lady wyvern. She has double poisoning which WILL ONE HIT KILL YOU if you don’t cure it asap. She is fast and boy, is she rampant when doing her double tail attack. Her armor is amazing and among my top favs. 🔹 And here we go…my theme this year will be Monster Hunter. I’ll be drawing my huntress/hunter, felynes and the monsters as well. Soooooooooo I’ll be regretting this later…or am I regretting it now?!
