💫 A Father’s Devotion.

Phase Two; Massive Star.

A shift between cycles is unheard of, both historically and scientifically. No monster had ever heard of the idea. No monster even knew such a thing could occur in the first place. By all means, the only thing capable enough of even wishing that into existence is determination itself. Exposure to such a force can exponentially speed up the rate at which a cycle could be experienced. Even a sliver of exposure was enough. Even a sliver was far too much.

Phase Three; Red Supergiant.

The life cycle of a massive star is anything but pretty. The more energy it takes in, the more dangerous it becomes. Growing larger and larger, defending itself from anything and everything that could get in its way. Fighting for itself, through determination. Through devotion. All the way until its final moments, to which the star prepares its magnum opus.

Final Phase; Supernova.

The Supernova takes in every ounce of energy that surrounds it. Colors dull and fade, light becomes sparse yet blinding. The world is no longer what it was before, caught in a bubble in time that many would never be able to witness. All until everything is released at once, causing the supernova. The world ending explosion tasked to take everything in its wake and leave nothing but a memory. The explosion leaves nothing but a star, barely even recognizable to the force it used to be.

so sorry for the lack of posting !! however some fun news!! I recently got recruited as a pixel artist for undertale green!! while I can’t say much now I’m super excited to be on board for this project and I srsly recommend checking it out >:D!!

I hope you don't mind this question, but what program did you use for the pixel art / animation? I want to try and create my own sprite for an AU

I use procreate for all my work !! there’s a lot of better options out there for exclusively pixel art im sure but I’m super comfortable with procreate and it’s been working me wonders w all of the sprite edits / sprite works !!

there’s a good chunk of free pixel brushes online (and iirc they’re really easy to make too I think I made my own ?) where I usually work in a very small corner of the screen (usually on a 2000x2000 pixel canvas so I can get refs in high quality without worrying about sizing anything up) and procreate had this really neat grid tool that helps me figure out exactly pixel placement:-)!!

typically Undertale sprites at least vary from about 25 x 75 pixels for overworld and (iirc) around 200 x 200 pixels for battle sprites with talk sprites being relatively around the same if not a little smaller !! probably going way into detail here but that’s typically my basic setup for working w pixel sprites and such !! any program would honestly probably work though procreate is just the most convenient for me !!
