There is no real economic gain from foraging for food but it connects you to the earth, your environment and ancient traditions and gives your spirit a purpose. Like sex- I am just taking part in an incredibly human/animal experience from ancient traditions that is intrinsic in my soul. I am being what I am supposed to be.
