it’s very important to me that the suju moms are all friends. like on star life theater, they were all in the kitchen cooking and chatting very happily and naturally. leeteuk’s mom even said that they were all close (and that she was the leader: like mother like son). if our pain as fans has been great, i can’t even imagine what the mothers have gone through. not seeing their sons for long periods of time. worrying about if they’re eating or sleeping or healthy. getting the calls late at night to come to the hospital. wondering if they did the right thing letting their sons audition. watching their boys cry onstage over all the hurts… i’m sure that in these times, they appreciated their bond as super parents the most. they probably bonded together even more, just like the boys did. i hope they were able to call each other for support and love. i’m also imagining the happy times. watching their sons take over asia. hearing their songs on the radio. watching them win on music shows. overhearing people in the street praising their sons. cheering them on as they break record after record. and growing prouder and prouder of their boys as they watch them love and support each other in their journey to achieve their dreams. so many other groups only have a bond as friends or as coworkers, but SJ is truly a family. their moms opened a cafe together, the members attend the weddings of each other’s siblings, their parents flew to another country together to watch their concert… that says something incredible. there are only a million reasons why i love super junior. this is one of them.
