My name is Gizem Gungor, I used to be a 2D animator and now I am learning 3D modeling and animation with Autodesk Maya. I like making low-poly, stylized models.
I made this in 2021 for my first course in Maya. It's a pretty simple representation of the life cycle of the atlas beetle in a low poly style. Extremely simple movements too. In this course we weren't taught rigging and animating just yet. Just how to keyframe.
I am pretty proud with how it turned out. I fussed with the art style and visuals a lot. I've never done a low-poly style before!
