Every Halloween Ballonlea & Spikemuth work together to put on a production of Rocky Horror Picture Show. The proceeds are split between the cities to help with city maintenance, community programs or whatever the cities need the funds for that year. In past productions Piers has played Riff Raff, Brad & Eddie. He's yet to play Dr. Frank-N-Furter but wants to do so someday

All Piers needed was a glance at the stranger to know he'd be making a mistake by going down the path he was headed. He clearly wasn't local, Piers knew all the Spikemuth residents' faces and he'd never seen this guy before. A tourist to the city perhaps? Not that they got a lot of tourists. The few they did never looked like this guy either or if they did they were usually followed by a gaggle of other people. Treating the city like it was some theme park fun house where they could gawk as much as they wanted into a kind of life completely foreign to them before returning to their normalcy. Piers hated those kinds of people.

This guy didn't look like one of them though. He simply looked nice. Not friendly nor extravagantly wealthy but his clothes were a good quality. The kind that only someone who really does have money can afford. If he'd taken that road someone far more desperate then Piers would've also noticed that and would've taken advantage of whatever opportunity came their way. Piers' has to wonder if the stranger even realizes how close he'd been to having everything on him stolen. His lack of expression didn't give any of his thoughts away.

"Well you don't want to go down there for that. All you'll find that way are the city's 'misgivings' themselves and worse they'll find you. Unless you're ready to brawl, you don't want that."

Piers picks up the accent tries to figure out where it's from. But the best he can estimate is somewhere within the Hoenn to Sinnoh regions and considering there were multiple regions between Hoenn and Sinnoh, that didn't exactly narrow things down. He doesn't really mind how blunt the stranger is, frankly he prefers when people get to the point. However he does find himself skeptical towards why he wants to hear about the problems they were facing. The last thing Piers wanted to deal with was some blogger or reporter trying to make a quick buck off Spikemuth's problems.

"Why you lookin' to hear 'bout our troubles though? Not many people are interested in the darker side 'a things. It better not be for some asinine blog 'r something."

I love the Twilight Wings characterization for all the Galar characters tbh. I love the genuine compassion of Rose but also the way they portray the pressure he puts upon others all while smiling. I love the way we see other gym leaders, specifically Bea but also kind of with Nessa, pushing themselves just to match Leon. I love the commentary so many characters make about Leon's smile not being genuine. I love Twilight Wings.

I could do the most Transmasc thing & start going by 'Ned' like the most normal name ever. But to me it's important cause it's the name the people of Aurora Texas gave the alien they buried. Which is one of my favorite alien/ufo stories ever.

I'm a greek mythology nerd & chose 'Keres' cause in Greek Mythology the keres are the goddesses/spirits(? IDK it's hard to explain they're siblings to Thanatos but unlike Thanatos there's multiple of them) that collect the souls of those who died violent deaths(IE. those who died in wars, murders, etc) & I thought the name sounded cool with a cool history behind it too. I've thought of changing to something masculine but I'm really attached to Keres so-

Piers has a lot of respect for various types of art. He has a great fondness for Brassius' sculptures & an admiration towards Burgh's works. He has yet to meet Mina however he'd likely deeply appreciate her work as well. He really enjoys Perrin & Viola's photography work as well. Especially in the ways they capture real life so beautifully with their pictures.

In regards to music he has long been inspired by Ryme having been a fan of hers since before he became a musician. She inspired him to publicly share his own music even. Of course he's a fan of Roxie's too with both in person & digital collaborations in the works. He also enjoys Ryuki's music though they haven't had time to collaborate together yet.

On more surprising notes, at least surprising for those who don't know him, he has a deep respect for Tulip, Nessa & Elesa's work as models. On that note he also has a lot of fondness towards Valerie's fashion designs. He cannot afford most of her clothes due to her high status as a designer but he has a deep admiration and respect for her work.

... N'yall I might be dumb. It took me THIS long to realize Piers' actual favorite horror movie series would be Hellraiser. He's literally called the 'Yell Raiser' which is likely just a play on the term of Hell Raiser, a trouble maker or person who causes problems, but it's RIGHT THERE.

She's there in the crowd; Piers knows, she's always there. She's harder to spot with the powerful neons of the city and the stage, but it's her gaze that betrays her, it must feel different on his skin. Less blind devotion, although there's the glint of something in her eyes.

Don't be fooled by her lack of cheering, her lack of screaming; it's all so she can take him all in better.

On the stage the lights are near blinding. The people in the crowd become almost amorphous. Blending into bright colors of hair, dark colored limps lifted into the air, figures moving and swaying to the music. Yet if he focuses he can see past the lights, the people at the front are always more distinct and those with signs stand out more. Always the ones trying to stand out, reaching desperately for his attention. Usually he'd give them a crumb, a wink, a smirk, point at them or maybe even reach for their outstretched hands if he was feeling particularly bold. But today his eyes cast further into the crowd. Seeking out a specific red amongst all the neon lights and hair. Searching desperately like a sailor in a stormy sea looking for the saving beam of a light house.

He knows she's there. She's always there. But what if she's not this time? What if she's moved on to brighter sights that he can't offer? What if he's just imagining that familiar intensity that comes with her stare? The performance must go on. But desperately he continues to search like a sailor lost to a stormy looking for the saving grace of a light house. She's lost among the crowd and he lost in his own head, wondering if he should turn back to search for her or carry on forward. Continue to the end and simply pray she will be there when it's all said and done.

His hands tighten around the microphone, eyes close shut. He can't trust the light nor can he trust his own sight. He knows this, has known it for years. He has to put his trust to the dark to the feeling of all the eyes on him and pick out that specific gaze of hers. That gaze of not simple devotion but intensity that sets the world ablaze when she's around him. That feeling of standing before lightening storms atop Spikemuth or wind storms atop the roller coaster at the pier. That feeling which drives him forward without him ever realizing it. That feeling which pulls further more passionate vocals from him as he lifts the microphone of the ground, singing to the heavens as though even if she's not there his voice will carry and she will appear.

Simply hoping I can find My way to you!

He doesn't need her cheering, he doesn't need her applause. As long as at the end of the show she's still there, that's all he needs.

Teen Piers in Unova HC's cause my brain doesn't want to let me actually write or respond to DM's

Piers & his family used to visit Unova for two weeks most every summers when he was a kid.

They stuck around Castelia City & Nimbasa City mostly. Though did visit Undella Town from time to time for the beach and came into the region through Driftveil City.

When Piers was 12 his parents started letting him explore the cities on his own as long as he kept Bowie by his side, didn't leave the city, kept in contact with them over & was back by curfew.

He spent a lot of time at the Castelia City docks with his uncle Grimsley it was his favorite place to go.

He did also liked sneaking into the sewers of Castelia City. But he got in trouble for that a lot.

He missed his trip to Unova when he was 14 as that was the year he took on the Galar League and his final trip to Unova was when he was 15. The trips to Unova stopped when his mom got sick and never happened again after she passed.

He didn't get to go back until well now that he's in his mid twenties & that's mostly to accompany Marnie to international League meetings and the rare in person collaboration with Roxie.
