Pop artist Cat Serrano returns with “Fantasy,” a compelling blend of pop vulnerability with an R&B edge. Co-written with long-time producer Cole O’Connor and mixed and mastered by Echo, the emotionally rich single explores the quiet unraveling of a relationship built more on wishing than reality. “Fantasy” is now available to stream and download on all major platforms. Soft acoustic strumming and subtle layered vocals set the tone of “Fantasy,” allowing Cat Serrano’s expressive voice to take center stage as she sings through the unraveling of hope and illusion. The track opens with the haunting realization that love isn’t always mutual. “I was afraid to fall, And you were afraid to fly,” Serrano sings. From there, “Fantasy” unfolds like a quiet confession, filled with grief, longing, and reluctant acceptance. The lyrics shift between metaphor and memory, pillars falling, prayers to the moon, wrecking balls, and stars, constructing a world where love was only dreamed, never lived. Serrano’s heartbreaking lyricism shows her ability to find strength in vulnerability, making “Fantasy” not just a breakup song, but a reflection on self-awareness and healing. The track leans into intimate acoustic pop with elements of R&B. “Fantasy” showcases a more personal, contemplative side of the artist’s sound and proves that she isn’t afraid to sit with uncomfortable feelings, making her music resonate. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Cat Serrano has always found a home in the arts. Read the full article

Pop trailblazer, fashion force, and queer icon Tamta has just released her bold new album ‘The Villain Heroine’. Originally released as two separate EPs—‘The Villain’ and ‘The Heroine’—the project now comes full circle as a complete body of work, enriched with two new bonus tracks and a special remix from Tamta’s earlier discography. The album is released under her indie label Kiki Music Group, exclusively distributed by Minos EMI/ Universal Music. This album is Tamta at her most unapologetic. A dual narrative that explores the delicate and often blurred lines between good and evil, ‘The Villain Heroine’ is a sonic and thematic exploration of identity, empowerment, and perception. Tamta states: “To some, you’ll be cast as a villain, to others, a hero. But in the quiet of your soul, be unapologetically you. That is the message of this album”. Conceptually, the album is structured like a diptych—two opposing forces that complement and complete each other. ‘The Villain’ introduces darker themes and textures, filled with leftfield electronic pop and rave-inspired sounds. It opens with XAI5-V, a frenzied dive into the villain’s chaotic universe, followed by the war-like rhythm of ‘Khorumi‘, inspired by her roots and the traditional Georgian dance. ‘Anakata‘ shifts gears with a sensual, high-speed love song, while ‘Copy’ takes aim at imitation culture, turning the concept of artistic theft into a moment of power. Pop-rock sister duo Lavendine returns with their ethereal new single, “Diamonds in the Sky,” produced by Mark Needham (Fleetwood Mac, P!nk, The Killers, Chris Isaak), a soul-stirring anthem that takes listeners on a transformative journey from heartbreak to hope. Laced with shimmering melodies and heartfelt lyricism, the track invites fans to rise above life’s weight and float freely among the stars. “This dreamy, vintage pop rock track will lift you to a higher place, in the heavens, that’s more than what you were expecting,” says Lavendine. “You will be carried to the stars by the lyrics and the mystical melody.” Rooted in raw vulnerability, “Diamonds in the Sky” tells the story of emotional release—letting go of pain, embracing solitude, and finding strength in stillness. From the opening lines—“It’s been a lonely night, so much on my mind”—to the soaring chorus—“I’ll be singing along with the diamonds in the sky”—Lavendine crafts a soundscape that is both ethereal and empowering. “It invites you to float up out of your heartache where nothing can hold you or pull you back down,” the duo explains. “That’s the place this song was born from—a need to rise above.” With rich harmonies and a dreamlike blend of vintage pop and rock elements, “Diamonds in the Sky” is both a sonic escape and an emotional anchor for anyone navigating their own healing journey. Vocals were created by Ed Seay, Jacy Ayers, and Jana Ayers, with musicians including Brian Pruitt on keyboards. Read the full article

The track is one of the last to be released ahead of her album, Bad Side, coming this summer. 15-year-old pop singer-songwriter Siena Fantini continues to make waves with her latest single, “the loved.” This ballad is deeply thoughtful, while also maintaining a youthful perspective, and plays on both elements of modern pop and airy piano arrangements. “the loved” is now available to stream and download on platforms worldwide. Recorded at Altamira Sound, “the loved” came to fruition with the help of several industry icons, such as Sean Hurley (John Mayer, Lana Del Rey), who produced and played bass on the track. He was accompanied by Taylor Mackall on keyboard/piano (Lizzy McAlpine, Joni Mitchell), Harrison Whitford on guitar (Phoebe Bridgers), Kiel Feher on drums (Selena Gomez, Lauv), and Grammy-award winner Darrell Thorp as engineer/mixer (Foo Fighters, Radiohead). Matching the ballad’s compelling pop melody is Fantini’s empowering voice, with the piano as a sonic throughline driving the single’s narrative. “the loved” reflects her recent experience developing feelings for a new person and naturally wondering when it’ll be her turn to have those feelings reciprocated. “I wrote ‘the loved’ in maybe 20 minutes,” Fantini explains. “This is one of those songs that word vomited itself into fruition when I got home from a party. There was this cute guy there that I had no idea how to impress (or why I even felt the need to impress him).” Fantini describes this one-sided crush as awkward and uncomfortable, admitting that she can get too in her head about the situation. Singer-songwriter Ross Flora releases his deeply personal new single, “Cornerstone,” a reflection on overcoming spiritual aimlessness and finding purpose through the support of those around him. Drawing inspiration from both personal experiences and the timeless biblical parable to “build your house on the rock,” Flora offers a song that speaks to the power of faith, community, and the unwavering love that provides a solid foundation in times of uncertainty. In his own words, Flora shares: “I wrote “Cornerstone” as a testament to a phase when I felt aimless and adrift in life. The plans I had laid out for myself, sacrificed and worked so hard for seemed to be leading nowhere, and I was spiraling spiritually. Thanks to the people and support that entered my life during that time, I was given a solid foundation to refocus my faith and purpose.” With its evocative lyrics and poignant imagery, “Cornerstone” explores the metaphor of building one’s life on a firm foundation amidst life’s trials and tribulations. Acclaimed indie singer-songwriter Marc Del Giudice releases his newest single “Victim In The Dark” on March 23, 2025 on all major streaming platforms. “Victim in the Dark” is a haunting, emotionally raw track that explores the struggle of feeling unseen and unheard while navigating heartbreak and emotional isolation. With moody and energetic production, atmospheric textures and vulnerable lyrics, the track blends the dark honesty of Billie Eilish with the cinematic intensity of Tame Impala and Gorillaz. “This song captures the feeling of being ‘in the dark’ both literally and psychologically,” says the New Jersey native. “It speaks to anyone who’s ever felt lost in their own emotions. With no vices and no ways to escape the feeling, depression doesn’t make a grand entrance, it comes creeping in. I wrote it during a transformative period in my songwriting, around the time my songs were starting to explore existentialism and the human condition. It’s a song about facing your inner demons head on.” Marc’s musical journey is a dynamic tapestry, blending the classic tones of rock with a contemporary indie flair. His compositions, fueled by introspective lyricism and captivating melodies, pay homage to the roots while exploring the modern frontiers of indie rock. Each song is a journey through the landscapes of emotion, narrated with authenticity and a distinctive musical fingerprint. Read the full article

Chris Janson is as hot as any country artist can be these days and he shows it with each and every release. His new and excellent “Me & A Beer” (Harpeth 60) is the pure talk of the format and after just one listen you will understand why. Cody Johnson is also getting quite a lot of love out there at the format. He wears is so well with the new single “The Fall” (Warner/WMN/COJO Music) that has #1 written all over it. Ty Myers is making the most out of his sudden fame and fortune. It all gets credited to the song “Ends Of The Earth” (RECORDS Nashville) that is really some crafty songwriting at that. After just one listen I was totally hooked and I don’t even like music. Keep your ears and eyes peeled for the magic that is Ty Myers. Tim McGraw has joined forces with P. McCollum for a solid Country winner. “Paper Umbrellas” (Big Machine/MCA) is the little ditty that I’m referring to and I have to tell you that this one has #1 written all over it so jump on this as fast as you can. Ty Myers Kip Moore is back at it with another Country monster, “Bad Spot” (Virgin) is his latest and greatest and watch for the numbers on this single to blow up in the coming weeks. I’m also happy to report that one of my favorites in Dylan Scott is on the move. “What He’ll Never Have” (Curb) is the new one that many music and program directors from across the USA are signing his praises. I would go out and buy a lotto ticket today if I were Dylan Scott. Read the full article

Rooted in heartland honesty and set to a boot-stomping groove, “People Like Me” is a salute to the salt-of-the-earth folks who work hard, live real, and enjoy unwinding with a drink in hand. Whether you’re clocking in on a job site, behind a desk, behind the wheel, or standing a post overseas, Ross’ new single celebrates the camaraderie, grit, and good times shared by everyday Americans. “People like you and people like me, we like to drink,” Ross belts out in the instantly catchy chorus, backed by driving guitars and the kind of rough-hewn charm that made country radio famous. From the working class to the front lines, Ross honors those who give it their all and don’t pretend to be anything they’re not. New Jersey’s own The Modbeats are shaking up the scene with their newest single, “Hold Me Roll Me.” A glam-soaked, garage-rock banger, it blends the swagger of ‘60s rock with the urgency of the present moment. Full of jangly guitars, stomping grooves, and a rebellious spirit, the track is a rallying cry to live loudly, love fiercely, and dance like there’s no tomorrow. “Hold Me Roll Me” is available to download on all streaming platforms. Musically, the track bursts with color, opening with a stomping groove and crunchy guitars before blooming into a swirling mix of harmonies, tambourine hits, and bold keys. It’s equal parts danceable and defiant, channeling free-spirited energy while maintaining the unpolished rawness that defines The Modbeats’ sound. The production is intentionally gritty and garagey, capturing the feeling of a band playing loud in a sweaty club, fully in their element. This anthem is a whirlwind of classic rock textures and genre-defying flair. The band layers a shimmering glockenspiel, performed by frontman Philip Dunn, over chugging guitar rhythms, tambourines over pounding drums, creating a vintage-but-fresh atmosphere that’s both chaotic and full of charm. There’s a deliberate grit in the mix, the kind that feels sweaty, human, and real. From the opening chords, the song barrels forward with the confidence of a band that knows exactly who they are and what they stand for. Lyrically, the track is both a personal declaration and a universal cry. Read the full article

Singer-songwriter Verna Margaret brings a fresh, unapologetic edge to classic Americana with her latest single, “White Shutters, Red Door.” Rooted in twang and heartache, the track is a bold anthem for choosing authenticity over expectation, even if it means walking away from love. With a voice that soothes as much as it stings, Verna Margaret explores what it means to find peace in decisions that honor your truth, carving out space in a world that often asks us to shrink or conform. “White Shutters, Red Door” is now available to stream and download on all major platforms. With her distinctive vocal melodies and evocative, ego-free lyricism, Verna Margaret uses “White Shutters, Red Door” to paint a poignant portrait of a relationship divided by diverging life paths. Rather than compromising who they are to preserve love, both individuals walk away with a quiet sense of pride, choosing truth over conformity. As with much of Verna Margaret’s work, the song touches on recurring themes of lonesomeness, acceptance, and self-assurance. “I wrote this song about two people who may have loved each other, but ultimately want different things in life,” she shares. “It’s a bittersweet song because there’s clearly love and longing, despite both parties being happy with their ultimate choices.” Written and composed by Verna Margaret herself, the track isn’t meant to leave listeners feeling heartbroken, but uplifted. LuckySky Music recording artist Tori Martin’s powerful new single, the up-tempo anthem “Cowgirls Ride,” hits radio today. Following its premiere feature in Country Evolution earlier this week, the record is available for purchase now. The release follows Martin’s back-to-back #1 Texas Regional Radio Report chart hits “Lost in the Country” and “Abilene.” “This song is for us,” says Tori. “It was inspired by cowgirls, rodeo queens and barrel racers, but it transcends to all women. It’s a mantra we were born to know. I hope it motivates cowgirls everywhere.”  Tori’s voice alternates between gritty challenge and gloriously sweet rafter-raising energy. Produced by Bill Warner, “Cowgirls Ride” evokes the high-drama moodiness of a classic Western movie soundtrack. Haunting guitars and a wide-open soundscape evoke the freedom of high prairie ranges. “I’m always intrigued by the intangibles of a musical hook,” Warner notes. “We’ve been performing this live for a while and the chorus inevitably hits the mark with the audience.” Well, they raise ‘em kinda restless  In the reckless heart of Texas                  Bust the bolts right off the fences They’re like tumbleweeds blowing You can try but you can’t hold ‘em Queens of the unbroken  Mustangs running wild  Cowgirls ride Let the cowgirls ride (Bill DiLuigi, Kirsti Manna, Tori Martin) Check out Tori’s music, merch and more HERE. “Glad It Happened To Me” is the name of the latest song created by this captivating duo, building on their natural chemistry and from their highly successful “Slo Jams” EP of 2024. The tempo shifts 180 degrees and will be included in the upcoming album “Modern Times” whose current title track has been the #1streamed song on Spotify as reported by smoothjazz.com for many consecutive weeks. Inspired by the golden era of danceable funky music from the 70’sthrough the 90’s, The blending of soul, jazz and R&B is clearly evident in this upbeat, feel-good track with a vibe reminiscent of the group ‘Incognito’. “Glad It Happened To Me” is definitely a mutual feeling felt by these 2 artists and clearly evident when listening to this song. The main hook of the vocals, where Anna sings “not really sure what it was, but I’m really glad it happened to me” – I mean…what else could you want out of a hook? She injects sensual rhythm and a lively spark into each syllable, and as a result, you can hear how enticing the whole sound of that hook truly becomes. Contemporary Soul/Jazz combined with Anna Moore’s outstanding vocal performance, the perfect pairing and match for this summer season and beyond. Mike and Anna they create a familiar style of sound that never seems to get old, and prove this hybrid collaboration has the kind of vibe that’s thriving in its prime right now. Read the full article
