“So…how was the honeymoon?” Joe asks. “It was great! Full of sun and love and sex. You know what happens on a honeymoon, Joe. The real question, is how did your date with Luz go?” Bill asks. Joe can’t believe Bill is asking about it. “It was a fake date. We had fun. I mean…” Joe hesitates before finishing lamely, “we’re great friends.” “Oh. That’s it? No sparks flying? Cause I could have sworn I saw some,” Fran says from the back seat. “What?” Joe can’t think of anything to say to that as the charged moment on the dancefloor fills his mind. Were there sparks? Was it just feeling all the love at the wedding? Was it just enjoying being with a good friend? Fran sighs. “You didn’t even kiss? I thought for sure…” Joe doesn’t answer as he pulls out of the airport pick up line.  “You hear that Fran? He’s not saying they didn’t,” Bill says. “I betcha they did.” Joe flips him off.

I’m rewatching SAS Rogue Heroes season 2. I forgot about this weird season 1 recap at the beginning. Genuinely need to know what the fuck they were thinking with that song choice. It’s so tonally jarring!

Guys, I just finished watching SAS: Rogue Heroes and what the actual fuck?! Why did I wait so long to watch it?

Honestly, it’s not even my usual genre but it’s so well made. I’ve known Jack O’Connell since the Skins days (I was just a teenager when I developed one of my first toxic crushes on Cook), and seeing him again in recent roles makes me genuinely happy.

Now I’ve also developed an obsession with that three apples tall Irish soldier-dog who’s all growls and barks. I’m already thinking about a possible PWP. Someone needs to put him in his place, after all🫡
