Anyways, since I am probably going to shelf this blog because it's being unruly: You can follow the new one early if you really want. It's not ready and isn't going to be used for awhile but, y'know, to be efficient.

Vera gives a slight handwave to dismiss that train of thought, unable to help the little chuckle of amusement from escaping her. "Well, love, I'm certainly glad to hear you'd not pick a fight with me over something as trifling as Oz."

“…For Oz? Out of all the choices it was Oz???? At least pick someone with positives like, say, Vicky or Amira. I’m almost offended they’d think fighting me for Oz is even something to consider.”

      “ ……. To be quite honest, I think you and I are always going to disagree upon that topic. Sure, Amira is easy on the eyes, but none of them particularly strike my fancy. Not truly… my thing, I suppose?

      But that is besides the point! Out of all of them, they would go with Oz! As if I would ever so much as pick a fight with my own reflection over Oz, and she is such a pushover, let alone compared to deciding to antagonize you!”

There's a long pause after the question is asked of her, nails tapping on opposite arm as they cross in front of her. It was certainly the.. exact opposite of what she ever expected to be asked, frankly. Most don't come to a fertility goddess to ask for them to Not do anything.

"It's.. certainly not what I'm oft asked to do, I shall confess. However, if you truly wish for me to abate what nature desires... I suppose I have very little to gain, considering. Very well, I'll 'keep my pants on' as it were. Anything they do is of their own volition, however. I'm merely not going to make it worse for them. If someone still manages to bear fruit, that's merely their own 'luck', as it were."

You know, you'd think entering a dark pact with an ancient deity would've taken more... efforts, sacrifice? Offering? Maybe she'd still need to do it but as it stands now she was free from the burden of having to provide a tempting treat in exchange for an honestly frivolous service.

Truthfully, she had plenty of incentive, but now's not the time for that when she's being asked for favors.

..Vera needs to go hug and pamper and absolutely adore her Miranda for a bit. She feels skittish for some reason.

Thinking about that post-apocalyptic Vera and just how distraught mine would be to lose so many of her snakes. They're people to her, after all, even if they are a part of her. They all have different personalities and names. That would hit her Hard, even if most people wouldn't even be able to tell.

Girl does Not take losing people close to her well, which is why she usually Doesn't let people that close.
