There has been a new King Salmonid sighting!

This specimen is called Megalodontia, and is said to be much larger than any other King Salmonid seen so far. Its large mouth is said to be capable of eating just about anything. No further details are known, but according to Grizzco, it's likely to come ashore early December.

そして、新たなオカシラシャケの目撃情報が入った！ 「ジョー」と呼ばれるその個体は、今まで目撃されてきたオカシラシャケよりもはるかに巨大で、その大きな口で何でも食べてしまうと言う。 詳細については一切不明だが、クマサン商会によると12月上旬に上陸する可能性が高いとのことだ。

We have obtained a document that appears to be a blueprint of the Splattercolor Screen that appeared in a recent video. It seems to be equipped with a mechanism to deploy a sheet, and is capable of affecting an Inkling's vision. Further research results will be reported on later.

This is the Snipewriter 5B, with a different sub and special from the 5H to change up your writing style. Use a Splash Wall to secure your position, and your main weapon, which can fire up to 5 consecutive shots, to spread ink. Spread the ink further with the Ink Storm special!

From Greater Inkopolis comes H2Whoa, with some refreshing BGM for battles! Despite having just formed, this band has already attracted tons of attention. The rock-loving youths of the Splatlands are puzzled, but can't hide their interest, saying "The pretentious lyrics and visuals are kinda annoying, but the candidness of it is fresh."

ハイカラ地方出身、H2Whoa（エイチツーウォー）の爽やかなナンバーがバトルBGMに加わるぞ。 結成間もないが既に注目を集めている話題のユニットだ。 ラウドロックを好むバンカラの若者たちも「スカした歌詞とビジュアルがなんか鼻につくが、正直そこがイカす」と、戸惑いつつも興味を隠せない様子だ。

One radio station in Splatsville gave one of their songs a heavy amount of play, and H2Whoa began to garner attention. Time to introduce, that song, called "Aquasonic". Cool down from a scorching battle with those husky and transparent vocals and synths, and a rhythm that speeds like a gushing stream of water!

Finally, online Tableturf Battle will be available! Make a room with your friends or Pool members, and battle it out on the Lobby's second floor. Up to 10 players (8 in the Shoal) can enter a room. You can play against each other or watch matches while changing opponents.

What's new in the lobby? The Jukebox. If you put in 100G of cash, you can change the lobby music to whatever you like. During a private battle, the music of other players in the same room will also change. This is your chance to show off your favorite song to your friends!

The Neo Sploosh-o-matic is a special model made from different materials. Use your Beakons to surprise opponents with some close-combat —  this weapon's specialty. The Killer Wail 5.1 special lets you to fight with your main weapon while restricting your opponent's movement.

The Tri-Slosher Nouveau is a model with special decoration. If you look closely, you can see there's a different color handle. Its Fizzy Bombs can keep opponents at a distance, and can ink a path ahead. Set up a Tacticooler to strengthen you and your team and take the offensive!

The Custom Jet Squelcher is a model with a limited-edition colored nozzle. Use Toxic Mist to slow down your opponent's movement, and make the most out of the main weapon's long range. And if you toss out an Ink Storm, you can even further limit your opponent's movement!

これは「ジェットスイーパーカスタム」。 ジェットスイーパーに限定カラーリングのノズルが装着されたモデルだ。 サブウェポンの「ポイズンミスト」で相手の動きを鈍らせて、射程距離の長さをより発揮させよう。 スペシャルウェポンの「アメフラシ」を使用すれば、さらに相手の動きを制限できるぞ。

The Neo Splash-o-matic is a special model made with different materials. Combine the main weapon's rapid firing rate and your Suction Bombs to secure your turf. When the time's right, use your Triple Inkstrike to break down your opponent's defenses and attack!

The Manta Maria is a stage/sailing ship in a harbor in Inkopolis. Make use of the huge mast and the nets around it, and you can also ink some escape routes, but be careful to not go overboard! Although inkfish can't swim, after all these years they still wanna battle on boats.

ここは「マンタマリア号」。 ハイカラ地方の港に浮かぶ、帆船の上で戦うステージだ。 巨大なマストと、その周囲の網をうまく活用しよう。 一部の脱出ボードの上も塗ることができるが、海に落ちないように要注意。 泳げないのにわざわざ船の上でバトルしたがるのは何年たっても変わらないようだ。

Here's a new feature that can be used in the Lobby and the Grizzco building. If you enter a specific keyword, you can join a channel. players who entered the same keyword will be able to send notifications to each other. You can also recruit people to join the channel.

Alphanumeric characters, hiragana, katakana and some symbols can be used for channel passwords. For example, if your keyword is PublicTurfWar , notifications will be sent to and from others who entered the keyword PublicTurfWar. Use those shared keywords to mingle and chill! [Note: It's unknown whether if users who have their game set to a language other than Japanese will be able to use hiragana and katakana for lobby codes.]

And one more thing, Deep Cut's news broadcast will feature a new segment: During Splatfests, the radio will introduce players who have won 10x battles and other events. You'll be able to listen to the broadcast in the lobby, so stay tuned!

ロビーやクマサン商会で使える新機能をご紹介しよう。 合言葉を入力して「チャンネル」に参加すると、同じ合言葉を入力したプレイヤー同士で、通知を送り合うぞ。 グループへの合流を募集することもできるので、レギュラーマッチの乱入はもちろん、バイトチームコンテストなどにもご活用いただきたい。

ちなみに、チャンネルの合言葉には、英数字・ひらがな・カタカナ・一部の記号を使用することができる。 例えば、「ナワバリどうこうかい」と入力すれば、同じく「ナワバリどうこうかい」と入力したプレイヤーと通知が送り合われることになる。 共通のキーワードで、ゆる～く交流しよう。

すりみ連合が送る、バンカラジオもパワーアップするぞ。 フェス開催中、10倍マッチなどに勝利したプレイヤーを、ラジオで紹介してくれる。 ロビーでの「ながら聞き」で放送されるのでステイチューン！

The Rapid Blaster Deco is a model of Rapid Blaster with special coloration. Use your Torpedo sub weapon along with your main to take the initiative and attack from a distance. If someone's closing in on you, use your Inkjet special to take the high ground and counterattack.

これは「ラピッドブラスターデコ」。 ラピッドブラスターに特別なカラーリングが施されたモデルだ。 サブウェポンの「トーピード」とメインウェポンで、離れたところから先手をうって攻撃だ。 詰め寄られそうになったら、スペシャルウェポンの「ジェットパック」で高所を取って反撃しよう。
