The Beastmaster 1982

Beastmaster, aka beastmode is tale of a young boy who discovers he has special powers and must keep them secret because thats what you do with special powers. So whats the big secret? Mr. Beastmaster can enter beastmode and control animals with his mind! This film contains everything you want in a movie about prehistoric times, dramatic hood removal, the worlds strongest dog, and gas powered shack explosions! 

This film teaches us a lot, like how crossfit was invented, and that using beastmode powers gets you laid. It also teaches us the true meaning of butterface and that all witches are really super hot if you have a paper bag to put over their heads. We also learn the true origins of mortal kombat and that scorpion was actually sacrificed as a young child. Not to mention that if you get the stuff in glow sticks on you, you will be paralyzed. 

This film also leaves us with a lot of unanswered questions like, “where does Rip Torn get those skull barrettes?” and, “where do I get a ferret purse?” All in all though, I feel that we have learned that you can order a new leather skirt off amazon prime and be ready for action in 3-4 business days, and that seeing boobs in the first 15 seconds of a film doesn’t mean you won’t fall asleep by the end. Because we did yell at the screen a lot, and there were really cute ferrets in this movie and also a badass eagle, but also it was really long and we lost interest by the end, this movie gets 2 out of 5 tiger unicorns… oh yeah theres a cool tiger in this whole movie…

Tom Wills (1835-1880), Australia’s first celebrity sportsman. He was the greatest cricketer of his day and founded Australian Rules football. Tall and sculptured, he was described as being like a Greek God in the flesh. Women swooned and men envied as he walked across the sports field. He also did very great deeds. After surviving a massacre in which his father was killed by Aboriginal Australians, Tom, hoping to heal the situation, coached and captained a team of Aboriginal cricketers, and took them around Australia. This was at a time when most white Australians thought very little of Aborigines. Sadly Tom suffered from PTSD and fell into alcoholism. A lonely and broken man, he stabbed himself to death with a pair of scissors.
