Im very exited to see Epithet: Switched coming back! Have you read Prison of Plastic or seen the new songs yet?

Hi! Hello! I'm also very excited to be getting back into ES! I am genuinely so happy to be able to produce the ideas I had back then in a style I'm comfortable in (has, was, and always will be a passion project I put all my love into regardless of skill, but now it just feels *right*).

I do have both the pdf and audio book of PoP, but I haven't gotten around to listening/reading, only because I get pretty hyperfocused on one set media at one time and it's hard for me to multitask being obsessed with things, but I have listened to the songs!!! Giovanni, you will always be famous !!!

Lil update: Right now, I'm in the process of making new references for the characters, as well as a height chart. I know how to draw kids now! (bc trust me, back then I STRUGGLED lol)

Giovanni is small and full of Evil intent. Percy, not so much

Epithet Switched! rambles

Orbit class Sylvie is a thing. That man is tired 24/7 and has earned every part of those eyebags through his work.

Expanding on this, I wanted to think about the different ways he could utilise his epithet.

Daydream: Inflicted upon eye contact. An effect where the target believes they are still awake. In actuality, Sylvie is progressively generating a dream in which the target, in real life, has fallen asleep.

This skill is mostly functional in immobilising a target, and in a more psychological sense, wear them down. e.g, having an inscribed target believe their epithet is gone, when in reality, Sylvie has created that aspect to be/become null in the dream (Probably needs to exploit existing nightmares/fears/dreams of the target?).

REMedy: Inflicted upon skin-to-skin contact. Instant pacifying effect. Stimulates an environment that reflects a safe place to the target, often leading them to feel drowzy and passive.

This one is kind of an opposite to 'Nightmare Fuel' except harder to active only because, to me, whilst fears are easy to manipulate and exploit, letting down your guard enough to feel 'safe' is harder. This skill is often more used to remedy (heh) and de-esculate a situation.

Somnophone: The ability to talk and communicate through illusion.

Essentially, this skill allows Sylvie to communicate with someone in various means without needing to speak verbally. Telepathy without the telepathy, kinda. subconscious words are projected onto the target/s. He needs visuals on the person, but not direct eye contact. The effect is always spoken in whispers howver, which cause a dreamy-sounding lulling effect on the target. Target can only respond verbally.

I hope these make sense. I wanted to tie in more of the psychological side of his work into this. I had also wanted to think of implementing the idea of an imbued object, probably a watch (I have Ideas.) but not sure on if it's only those in Nova class who can do that (lets face it it's been 5 years since my ee fixation, I remember near nothing oops).
