Sneaking out from U.A was surprisingly easy, even thou they were all expressly told they couldn't leave the school grounds at all. Hikan-ron mineta was out and about in the town, going about her own wants instead of being stuck somewhere for who knows how long. She came to the mall and just the same as she remembered. 'Maybe that tiger is st-' Her train of thought was interrupted by bumping into someone, she was only slightly shorter then who ever she walked into. "ah, uh sorry didn't see where I was going" Hikan recognized the voice of natsuo todoroki from anywhere, and it was soothing to hear it after so long. "n-no the fault is on me" Maybe this day won't be so boring and repetitive after all.

Mineta is probably the most interactive with his fans so just imagine class 1-A going to a con or something and while everyone is getting at least a few questions cause they’re so popular all the fans, even those that aren’t his, are talking casually and giving him gifts.

It’s such a surprise for him cause the people on the internet are much meaner.

yeah i agree, op basically said: "yeah what about the other stuff they do, with the other characters making them horny for one another on a non-con reaching scale" and he should say it, i mean i've seen fics about abo bnha au's where izuku was being flirted with by every, or another where he sleeps with every girl (adult versions too) who by the way took advantage of him while he was unconscious, and don't get me started on some of the ABO fics out there.

You think it's immature when people don't want to write in a character who is a predator? You might like minoru, but people not being comfortable with a character who gropes women is pretty normal

A predator? Really? The only time groping occurred was by accident in the first season. He has never tried to grab anyone on purpose. Mineta isn’t a predator, at most he’s a nuisance. The worst he’s done is try to peep which is a common cliche in anime. At least he didn’t see anything like other characters have. People exaggerate what he’s done and other people who watch the show and don’t pay attention to him believe them. Not to mention all the jokes are at MINETA’S expense, not the girls.

Also, you write Mineta out but keep Bakugo who in has bullied Midoriya, told him to kill himself, AND tried to murder Midoriya. Are you saying by keeping him around that physical and verbal assault and attempted murder is okay? Wouldn’t it be normal to not be comfortable with a character like that?

If you’re so uncomfortable by one of the most tame perverts in anime, then maybe don’t watch the show. If the perverted comedy isn’t for you, guess what, cutting Mineta out won’t do anything because he’s not the only source of perverted jokes. Mei felt Midoriya up without consent. Snipe touched Hagakure’s boob by accident. Look at Midnight, she’s a worse pervert, but she gets let off the hook? She flirts with teenage boys, make her whole shtick being a pervert, touches the boys inappropriately, and makes comments about how she finds the underage boys attractive. But this is all fine because she’s a women, right?

Oh, and a lot of those fics that cut Mineta out will have the boys be inappropriate with one another. Having them grab each other, making sexual jokes, even non-coning each other. So forgive me when I don’t really believe them when they say it ‘makes them uncomfortable’. They seem cool with it. Just not cool with Mineta.

If you want to keep up the narrative that perverts are something that shouldn’t be in anime or something, then keep that energy up with all perverts. Cut out Midnight and Kaminari. Cut out every pervert from all anime. Otherwise it makes you look like a hypocrite and weakens your argument.

Shōjiki- they fight a lot on weather it's good to tell the truth or not. Rakkan- he gives her little hints that her form and timing was off. Okubyō- they don't talk because they chose that over talking or social interactions. Shinrai- he'd wish, he didn't tease him for his crush. Hikan-ron- someone who helps him thru certain times when he needs it and vice versa.
