"i'm so quirky for being a large system, watch how fun it is for me to diminish/belittle the experiences of smaller systems!!"
you aren't being funny, by the way.
"it's satire!"
okay. what is it satirizing?

i'm begging the lot of you to actually read some medical journals or any other actual research on DID/OSDD. information that circles around via carrd/tumblr half of the time is just speculation being presented as fact. you all need to be able to find some actual resources before you continue spouting internet echo chamber bullshit to other systems who don't know any better.

i hate when someone finds out im a system and their first instinct is to "experiment" on me. im not going to switch for you so you can question each of us. im not going to ask my alters things for you. i am not an animal at the zoo for your entertainment. this happens almost every time i come out about it to someone and its rlly fucking annoying. if you're curious, you can research online and ask us if the same goes for us.

The sheer hypocrisy of seeing a pro-endo (mixed origin) system whining about how "fake therians" are invading therian spaces and "pushing out real therians" from online communities. Is. Infuriatingly ironic.
Now, let me clarify. I am not a therian—so I cannot speak on the behalf of the therian community, and I'm not entirely aware of this issue or the validity of it. My condolences to those who are, as I'm sure this may be frustrating for all of you regardless of my own irritations with this. I mean no malice to the therian community, I think you're wonderful. (And for the therians out there, if you'd like to, I'm not exactly aware of how someone could fake being a therian. Feel free to educate me, as I want to learn).
However, I can say as a suspected system, that it is incredibly contradictory to be upset with this issue while still believing "endogenic systems" are okay. How can you support non-traumatized people acting as though they belong in a community of traumatized individuals, but you get upset with people who want to be therians? You're telling me that you are completely okay with people who do not claim to have trauma acting like they belong in an exclusively traumatized community, but you're upset with people who most generally think that therians (who are not a community that is exclusive to trauma, or a disorder) are cool, and want to be like them?
And yes. I'm aware that many endos admire systems, and are fond of the idea of having multiple parts (hence identifying as endo). What they're ignorant of, however, is that claiming to be systems is directly harmful to those with dissociative disorders for several reasons.
This frustration makes about as much sense to me as the thought of a homophobic trans person.

I don't know who needs to hear this but using number names isn't "appropriating RAMCOA trauma." They are names, just like any other name. They aren't part of a closed culture. It's not offensive. It's just a name. Therapists will sometimes even recommend using numbers for organizational purpuses, especially if you don't know any of your alters names. You're not dehumanizing your alters if you refer to them as a number. You're not appropriating trauma if you go by a number as a name.

some of yall are too comfortable sending death threats to kids online for faking illnesses. you as a kid were taking "am i a psychopath?" quizzes online to purposefully select the obviously 'psychotic' answers. because it made you feel cool and special and edgy.
honey leave the children alone, your repetition of generational abuse is showing 🫀

''Is it ableist if I don't want to speak to any of my friend's alters?'' Let's start off simple: Yes, It is. But, allow me to explain why It's ableist. I feel like this type of saying coming from singlets Is a big problem that comes from misunderstanding and lack of research. Many singlets often don't know anything about how DID/OSDD works, and end up saying things like this as a result. DID/OSDD forms In childhood. If your system friend, Is, for example, 13 and FOUND OUT (important keyword here) they were a system, then they didn't just create their system right off the bat. They found out. And let's remember here that your friend wasn't a singlet before discovery, they simply found out about the disorder and their alters! They are an alter, too. There Is no 'original' personality, you have already spoken to their alters before, too. You just didn't know it, and neither did they! Saying ''I don't want to speak to your alters'' Is ableist, and very disrespectful at that. They're an alter too. They all are, and they're not any different from the host, or any alter that you have spoken to before. If you're a singlet with system friends, please do your research instanstly Instead of assuming things like this. They WILL appreciate you trying to understand them. Don't be afraid to reach out to resources or research websites. Please remember. Be respectful. And if they allow it, don't be afraid to ask questions. My system personally always appreciates questions about DID/OSDD, and we're always happy to answer. For systems, I know singlets may struggle to understand. But please give them time and resources to learn, have patience and allow them to understand you, even if it's just a little. thank you for coming to my tedtalk

Common things in DID that no one likes to talk about
- switches that feel like you’re turning into someone else rather than them taking control (non-possessive switching)
- being unable to recognize amnesia until something requires you to remember something you forgot
- staying in the front for weeks at a time
- being unable to communicate with alters internally (this is so common why does everyone act like this is weird?)
- feeling like you don’t have any problems because you feel disconnected from them
- constant denial
- rapid identity, label, and appearance changes
- comorbidities, particularly personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and the schizophrenia spectrum
- autism (there is science pointing towards autistic people being more susceptible to trauma)
- disliking your system
- wanting final fusion
