HISTORY

in his human life, mason had a very happy adolescence. despite growing up in the great depression, he always had high hopes for the future. when the usa entered world war II, so many young men left home to fight for the country and mason was among the many that would never return. he’d been fatally injured and left for dead one night during an air strike in japan, and was fed by a vampire before he could pass out completely. the next time he woke, he had an unimaginable thirst for blood. he spent his baby vamp days recklessly, traveling all over the world and feeding on whoever he wanted to. he had no worries or cares about anything but himself and who he’d eat and fuck next. sometime in the 60s, he returned to massachusetts to his home and was immediately drawn to vernon. that’s where he’s been on and off ever since, because he can’t live with himself if he’s in one place for too long. these days, however, he can mostly be found at the small vampire bar he owns on the edge of town called fanging out.

HISTORY

growing up in vernon was different, to say the least --- and you’d only truly understand if you lived it. but nonetheless, elany was a happy child. her mom shielded her and her brother from all the spooky goings on of the town for the most part. that is, until her junior year of high school. her mother was killed, under mysterious circumstances, and the case was never solved --- but it’s a small town, and people talk. the most popular theory is that vampires were behind it, but no one ever figured out which one. the tragedy really shook the michaels kids, but they handled it in different ways. elany finished high school and graduated with honors then put all her focus into applying for colleges. meanwhile, her brother left town in search of their father, who had left when elany was only 11. she’d been accepted to julliard on an acting scholarship, and was more than excited to leave the town of vernon and all it’s memories behind her. until her brother returned to town, after being gone for nearly 3 years. she puts the plans for julliard on hold and decides to go to community college, and stay in the house she grew up in after discovering it’d been left to her and her brother in her mom’s hidden will.

PERSONALITY

positives/virtues/skills: she’s very smart and determined, but sometimes can be a little naive. she’s been left to figure things out on her own for the first time in her life, and she’s not doing such a great job. 

flaws/weaknesses: she’s a bit stubborn, and ever since her mom’s death she’s had a sense of recklessness that worries everyone close to her. she doesn’t seem to have much regard for safety, and is constantly putting herself in dangerous situations that can get her killed.
