I feel bad for the archaeologists that are gonna find some of my half written poetry and be like “oh my gooooddd… do you think he got too emotional here 🥺” like girl shut up. Like YES but shut up.

So my post function isn’t working so I’m reposting from here on in 🫡 today’s update is melancholy, healing is hard and as glad as I am that I made it out of my abusive situation, I feel like I basically left the other guy to be victimized by two people instead of one. I started praying to green man for him. My therapist tells me all I can do now is move forward and work to make myself better so I never end up making a decision like that again, and I believe her. It’s all I can do. Daily affirmations help, and tarot readings bring me peace. Moving on solo makes me sick with anguish sometimes days, but all the best Victorian authors were gay and melancholy, so I suppose I’ll enjoy my rainy afternoon.
