I went to log into my Wanderer planet since I just wanted to do a few missions so I could terraform and... It was all bugged out? Like, I had lost a bunch of my badges, but I still had three planets, one of the empires had disappeared and I lost most of my friendship with an ally but I still had trade routes? It was weird.
I don't remember Spore being so buggy when I was younger.

I don't remember this being a thing that can happen. How does this T1 planet I *just* terraformed suddenly have the tribal stage? I didn't even put these guys down.

Update for the Skolas, the chief and two of the other villagers are about to starve to death because the game bugged out and they will not eat. :'>
Gotta say, the Tribal Stage is by far the worst.

Uh a little awkward considering I just domesticated the Unicorns as a pet and then immediately they made a tribe. I was wondering why the regular ones were black and white while the alphas were yellow and white.

The Skola have evolved sapience and begun to use tools, create fire, build structures, and have a hierarchy. Despite having no arms or opposable thumbs, these creatures use their complex mouth and flexible lips to manage.

Here we see a curious sight: a crashed ship. While such incidents aren't uncommon, they can be disruptive to the flora and fauna of undeveloped planets.

Here we see the Skola again after thousands of years of evolution.
This species, with its large brain and incredible intelligence, is geared more towards exploration and curiosity. While it can eat meat, it prefers fruit and has evolved tall legs to reach high tree branches and to more easily transverse the hilly terrain of its environment. It has a powerful bite but most of its adaptations are for socializing. It befriends a member of an aggressive species so that it may continue its exploration unfettered. It has grown eyes again, which scientists believe helps it to identify food and possible hostile creatures from a distance. Its sense of hearing is excellent.

An amazing observation on the Skola pack on planet Medee: after many thousands of years, the species has evolved far more specialized tools.
Its bite has become extremely powerful and its legs and wings have become more adept at jump and flight. It also has evolved without eyes, which is a very curious evolutionary trait that scientists have yet to explain.
It lost its ability to dance or strike, but it still seems capable of socializing through the use of its rump appendage which evolved away from aggressive behaviors towards said social behavior.
Its colorations have also changed, helping it to blind in better with its nest. Scientists believe this is an adaptation to hide from predators since it appears to be a very explorative species.

Totally normal that the "creatures" that are mysteriously sick on my planet also happen to be the tribal stage of my species. That's a new one! I didn't even know it could register the Tribal stage as a creature, and also the implications are ALARMING (i.e. hilarious).

Here we observe the Skola awaiting for its young to hatch. The other members of the herd have already moved on to new hunting ground, yet this one stays behind.
We can also observe here some more of its fascinating evolutionary changes.
Its tail has become hardened, which it uses as a weapon. Its poisonous spit has become more potent. Due to the lack of easy food sources, it needed to evolve to be more omnivorous but it still has a very nasty bite; a remnant of its protein-heavy diet. And, least of all, the Skola has developed small wings capable of short bursts of gliding to help it navigate the landscape.

Here we see the lone Skola in the rain, fresh from a successful hunt. The huntress Skola had been exploring and being friendly with nearby species, but hunger pushed her to finding a nest of weak herbivores that she could spit poisonous barbs at from a distance.

The noble Skola, a rare breed from the planet of Medee. Experts believe this creature evolved from an herbivorous organism into something more carnivorous. While some scientists have observed the Skola to eat various fruits and vegetables, the breed seems more inclined to a carnivorous diet when it has options.

lol I lied, I got high and decided I *do* still want to play Spore. I just used the creature creator and I am delighted. It's too bad my network features won't work anymore.

The power went out and I lost almost my whole civ stage. RIPPERONI. I think I'll probably play something else for a little bit because that is such a bummer.
