Not to be that person who overanalyzes everything (I absolutely am), but Grovyle makes it sound like he’s known about that Time Gear location for years. And considering the Dimensional Scream only activates in response to things tied to Time Gears in the future, it probably took him and the Hero forever to track them all down before traveling to the past. Like I’m thinking anywhere from 3-5 years of investigating.
