Just a heads up, but I won’t be on tomorrow most likely since I am going to a concert/meet and greet thing.

Wary azure hues pause on the dark walls, brows quirk upwards in silent wondering, skilled hands are quick to set the photoalbum aside, for the time being.“Mhm~~ interesting…” sour laughter pours down his throat into the atmosphere, breaking her obvious hesitance with mockery. “I wonder… Just how desperate are you, to ask me for help?” vicious lips curl into a menacing grin, canines instantly piercing through as he stretches further into the loveseat. “Why, of course… My knowledge is endless, just as my beauty. But it all sums up to a single thing… Why do you care?”
❝ Why the hell do you think I care? ❞ Shirly snapped. The witch had never minced her words with the vampire before, and she wasn’t about to start now. ❝ I want to know if my research is correct. Do you know how annoying it is to go from thinking you’ve learned about every creature, even if you haven’t encountered it yet, just to learn there’s a huge gap in your knowledge? Well, for a witch like me, as the children say it today, it blows. Now is not the time for your classic smolder and shakespearean teasing, Michael. Are you going to help me or not? ❞

“Jasper,” he said, filling in the blank with a smile as she took the battery back from him. He glanced over at her phone, not seeing anything immediately wrong with it. “I think it’s going to be okay. Bullet dodged,” he said, knowing how annoying it was to have to replace a phone. He did it in every new town, after all. “You should be careful, though. That’s a nice phone and there are some shady people around here,” he said, though it wasn’t her phone she was worried about. Seeing humans out at all at night made him nervous for them knowing what sort of creatures lived in Eastland Grove.
Shirly tucked her phone back into her purse, before looking back up at the man. ❝ Jasper, was it? ❞ She tucked a few long blonde locks behind her ear, a smile easily spreading across her face. ❝ I’m Shirly. I appreciate your concern, but you needn’t worry about me. I’m well aware of the shady people around Eastland Grove. Some might not even call them...human. ❞ Her eyebrows raised expressively.

ooc: hey guys! so the latest admin reminder for a lack of better words, reminded me about something I got approved during the beginning of my hiatus. but basically, shirly is the only witch in eastland grove capable of charming wearable objects that would protect vampires from the sun for twenty four hours at a time. on her headcanon page here, it has more details (it’s near the bottom.) not posting under a read more since the first time I posted about this, I don’t think anyone saw, and I’d really like to make plots with vampire characters revolving around this. anyways, once again, if anyone would like to do a thread with shirly, like this post. thanks c:

“Thank you for the reminder.” Graysen replied playfully, letting out a laugh at Shirly. “I’m glad actually to hear you say that. I think so, what kind of house isn’t comfortable?” He walked towards her, after turning on another light. “I don’t know..” He sighed dramatically, clearly just kidding around with her again. “But alright, only because I like you and all.”
❝ You’re very welcome. ❞ Shirly smirked. She stood up, connecting one of her hands with his. ❝ Well that’s fortunate, seeing as I like you and all too. ❞ She quipped, before smiling cheekily. ❝ Lead the way? ❞

Jasper had been walking down the side walk, trying to get to one of the hardware stores before it closed when he heard something hit the ground followed by a comical exclamation. He turned to see what kind of person said ‘sugartit’ like it was a normal thing and the street lights bounced off of a metal piece - probably whatever she was on the ground looking for. He took the few steps over and bent down to pick the piece up, holding it out for the girl. “I think this is yours,” he said with a gentle smile, still amused by what she’d said.
Shirly had a penchant for accidentally letting aged expletives escape her lips-- by the amusement she sensed in the air, she was sure someone else had noticed. The witch looked up, relief washing over her features. ❝ Oh, thank god-- or should I say thank you.... ❞ She trailed off, waiting for the man’s name before giggling, taking the battery into her hands as she smiled sheepishly. ❝ I was afraid I was going to have to buy a new battery-- or a new phone for that matter. ❞ She looked back down at the screen, checking it briefly.

Shirly walked out of Eastland’s Books, sighing as she pulled her cardigan closer around her. She had just returned the aged books she’d borrowed nearly a month ago, barely making it in before closing time. She pulled her cell phone out of her pocket, and to her utter annoyance, dropping it on the concrete. ❝ Oh, sugartit!❞ The blonde dropped to her knees, feeling her way around for the lost battery.

“Yes, of course…” the vampires lets out an impatient sigh, soothing digits rub his temple in perpetual motion, icy hues lift to meet the blonde’s, and he finds little energy to protest any further, or even make her uncomfortable enough to flee. “What is it that you seek from lil ‘ol me, eh?”
❝ Well, ❞ Shirly began tentatively. ❝ Have you noticed that there have been some...how shall I say it: interesting visitors in town as of late? ❞ The blonde paused, biting her bottom lip. ❝ I just...have some theories-- and I was wondering if you had any-- or maybe some concrete knowledge on what exactly is going on. ❞

Sitting over an old photo album, a mournful sigh left the vampire’s lips blushing as he scans the pictures of a certain woman– that which he loves and hates with more feeling than he felt one could ever experience. Perfect and pristine features, cerulean eyes left his thoughts and emotions at bay, silken, auburn hair framing his immaculate face. Irritation quickly corrupts handsome features as emeralds gaze over towards his visitor. Unusual to his character, the Androshchuk found himself quiet, giving prying eyes a moment to speak before deciding what threat or perversion to throw at them.
❝ Michael. ❞ Shirly said in greeting to the mopey vampire. The witch’s eyebrows furrowed together at his demeanor, but she shook her head. ❝ Sorry if I’ve disturbed you. ❞ Shirly began. ❝ But I have a question I’d like to ask you, if that’s alright. ❞

Bright blue eyes turn up from the surface of the water at the sound of someone drawing closer to her. Not many people come to the lake and having visitors is a bit of a surprise. A good sort of surprise, the sort that’s met with a smile, but a surprise nonetheless. “Oh! Hello, there.”
Shirly jumped in place, her eyes drifting over to the source at the water. ❝ Oh. Hello. ❞ She finally replied, smiling tentatively. ❝ I’ve never seen anyone swim in these waters before. ❞

Victoria moved her hair from her face and smiled shyly, “I washed my clothes in the sink. If you want to run them through the washer, feel free. I just…” Victoria shrugged, “Thank you. Really.”
❝ I’m sure they’re fine. ❞ Shirly noted with a smile as she put her stuff down on the coffee table. ❝ You’re welcome, really. Are you starting to remember anything? ❞ She asked, pulling open a drawer that had a bunch of take out menus.

“You’re welcome.” Graysen couldn’t help but laugh at her curtsying playfully, as he followed behind her. “What do you think? I actually think it’s one of those houses that gives a cozy, with a home-y vibe to it.”
❝ I agree. Very appropriate for the everyday ninety year old man. ❞ The blonde teased, falling gracefully onto one of the couches. ❝ Just kidding, I really do like it. It’s very comfortable. ❞ She sat up on her knees, beckoning Graysen towards her with her hands. ❝ Are you going to give me the full tour? ❞

“Uh..huh..”
Shirly took in Aubrey’s expression, giggling a bit. ❝ And I should love Florida, seeing as I’ve lived here for quite awhile. I thought it was obvious I meant Miama has a great nightlife. You know...with clubs and such. ❞ Her eyebrow raised, but then she shrugged, taking a sip of the latte.
