i've never played final fantasy

so today we went outside to this cool restaurant that was like a 15 minute drive from where i live and i randomly got nervous and just became even more introverted then i usually am. i love people but sometimes they scare me.

in my time off of tumblr, i've still actually scrolled through it a few times, and all the people i follow have pretty much made my FYP digital circus. which is amazing because i love seeing people's fanart and different interpretations of the series.

also if you're wondering, episode 4 is my favorite (so far) :)

i just love moments like these.

jax can seem like the 1 dimensional “haha evil shit i do evil shit for funnie haha” guy to a lot of people, which is the persona he tries to uphold throughout all the episodes. his mindset is that because nothing’s actually real, might as well cause chaos for the sake of it. it’s how he copes. but moments like these, where jax is being genuine even for a split second, really show so much for his character.

no, i don’t expect him to be redeemed. gooseworx says that he gets WORSE, and he IS an asshole to everyone around him. but under all of that he is still human. and after being presumably tortured by gangle for who knows how long he really doesn’t have the energy to keep up his fake evil persona. and so he asks pomni how she’s doing, an action which confuses her greatly.

most of the time, jax is terrified of showing weakness. hell, THIS is his reaction to the employee training session.

he’s just had his body twisted in all sorts of ways by a bunch of mysterious hands and his biggest fear is people seeing him weak.

jax you are so pathetic and i love you as a character greatly ❤️

currently listening to metallica's "for whom the bell tolls"

so i haven't really been that active here on tumblr as of late, but i just saw that a few days ago that this blog turned 2 years old, which cool and stuff. anyways, twitter died cuz of elon so I moved to bluesky and i was pretty active there for a while but these past few weeks i've been a bit quiet. this is partially because 1. i haven't had much to say over there, and social media has gotten pretty boring as of late, and 2. i've been perfecting this one comic idea i had. and when i HAVEN'T been writing, i've literally just been either playing minecraft while listening to mr. nightmare scary stories, or just binging either invincible or going for a second run of twin peaks. there's also the fact that i've been sick over a week and only have i started getting better.

although i WILL say that i have a new discord server. this one is different from the one i've been advertising everywhere on my social media and i'll be changing my pinned comment here on tumblr to accommodate that one. unlike my last two discord servers, this one is fairly more active and i'd like to keep it that way. so join if you'd please. or don't, i'm not your mom, i don't control you.
