Snippet of a fic I'm going to write for your starlight strings AU:

He’d been so used to his flat being bone-cold quiet for so long, that the sound of voices yelling at top volume inside his own place sent a sudden cold shock through Nine’s body as he went to unlock the door- but then he registered the voices they belonged to. Eleven and Fifteen were singing. If they were home- he put the key away and tried the doorknob. Someone forgot to lock the door. He’d have to give the rest of these hooligans the our-neighbors-will-teach-us-a-lesson-someday speech again. 

“Hey!” Eleven greeted as Nine walked in, putting his bag on the front table. 

“Nice to see you.” Fifteen chimed in. 

Nine observed that the two of them were stood in front of the telly- music was playing faintly and silouhettes of dancers stood idly on the screen. “Just Dance again?”

Eleven beamed. “I won this time! I totally beat Fifteen.” 

Nine snorted. “I didn’t think you needed to sing to win a dancing game.”

“Well, first of all-”

Nine let Fifteen and Eleven argue playfully, and walked back into the flat’s kitchen. Ten was sitting criss-cross on the wooden floor.

Hey btw, here's a piece of life advice:

If you know what you'd have to do to solve a problem, but you just don't want to do it, your main problem isn't the problem itself. Your problem is figuring out how to get yourself to do the solution.

If your problem is not eating enough vegetables, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make vegetables stop being yucky". If your problem is not getting enough exercise, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make exercise stop sucking ass". You're not supposed to just be doing things that are awful and suck all the time forever, you're supposed to figure out how to make it stop being so awful all the time.

I used to hate wearing sunscreen because it's sticky and slimy and disgusting and it feels bad and it smells bad, so I neglected to wear it even if I needed to. Then I found one that isn't like that, and doesn't smell and feel gross. Problem solved.

There is no correct way to live that's just supposed to suck and feel bad all the time. You're allowed to figure out how to make it not suck so bad.

hi um. can I add my two cents about 11ponds. to me they are geocentric. 11 is the sun, Amy is earth and Rory is moon but they are inverted. the earth is the centre of the universe that the moon and sun both orbit. it's not ment to be like that, its supposed to be the earth and moon are just a pair orbiting the sun that has many other celestial bodies orbiting it. but. for them it's the other way round. Amy is the centre of Rory's universe, he is married to her, the closest anyone can get. but just past him, orbiting them both is a hunge firey ball of power so incomprehensible he looks small, the same size as them, from the earth's perspective. he orbits around the earth and therefore also the moon, but cannot truly get closer to them because he will burn them up. he can only shine his light and warmth on them, for better or worse. and the whole time, the sun and moon follow the earth across the universe all bound together, untill the sun gets so big and old it swallow them both up, and he has nothing but his memories of them. um.anyway sorry for being so insane I hope this makes sense<3
